i'm 21 year old and i want to go live n thailand. I have enough money to keep me going while i am there but i'm willing to work there. Do i send off for a visa before i fly or do i just book a flight and sort things out when i get there. What forms do i need, how long can i stay, what are the reqirements and how much will it cost? i just need to know the best way to go about it really. thanks.

You may fly here and start to look for a job. Once you find a job, your company will give you a letter for you to apply for the non-imm 'B' visa and from there you can apply for the work permit.

You must get a company who is willing to sponsor you the work permit.

It may be best for you to initially apply for a Tourist Visa at a Royal Thai Embassy or Consulate.

Although you may be eligible for a 30 day Tourist Visa Exemption, the airline may refuse to let you board without a confirmed return/onward ticket within this period. Moreover, the Tourist Visa Exemption cannot be converted to a Non-Immigrant Visa "B".
