Thailand is going to die as a tourist destination. I don't know a single person here in the US who would go there anymore and my family is in the travel business. My own Thai wife is furious over what is going on there and refuses to go back anymore. Sad what the corruption and just basic stupidity has done to that country.

The free world sees this guy as a loser and a fool.

Thais really have no concept of money management.

It was interesting that none of the other checkpoint employees wanted to assist her. My wife says they all work as a gang to rob the tourists and split the money. Enjoy your next trip!

I don't have an issue with it. The gifts are made with good intentions and those who donate believe they are doing a good thing. It's the giving act that matters and not what the monks do with it. If they choose to misuse such a gift then that is on their karma!
