Ok so 14 year olds are being forced to work in the bars and are having sex with foreigners and Thai elite every night in all the seedy spots of Thailand and V Day is their concern with sex? Yikes!

Same in the US. I think women will eventually just be born with a cellphone as part of their hand with their next mutation.

I have no fear walking around Bangkok when I'm there but I'd never just wander around NY or Chicago!

We have a vacation home in Lake Tahoe and my wife was up on the green runs after 2 days of ski school.

Think about it. Most of these guys have left perfectly good and beautiful countries to live in a 3rd world country among a people who truly don't want them there except to take their money. How does that end well?

I consider myself a lucky guy. My wife of many years has been a blessing to me. We have our moments but they are few and far between. A relationship with a Thai woman requires a fair degree of patience, especially early on, as she is coming from a very different place than us. I think the best thing we did was to get her out of Thailand for the US and we travel a lot. She has had the freedom to grow and broaden her perspective. Thailand has now become a very narrow and small world to her now.

Who's to say? Is it any more silly than believing a man walked out of his tomb after 3 days? What we call superstitions are often rooted in fact. The truth is none of us really know.

Nobody would care who they align with at that point. The world wouldn't survive, which is why it won't happen.

My wife is working on her US citizenship and also is very excited about being able to vote.

Never regretted it for a second. I'm blessed to have my daughter and would feel the same if I had another.

I got the Thai price there when I went with my wife and her family last trip over.

Pretty small amount of money for so much writing and concern when it comes to the woman you supposedly love! Would you be so concerned if it were a western girl and you were spending much much more? In any event I'll wait for the book!

We come over for a month or two every year. Last visit a few months back. Didn't notice any real changes. We don't hang out in seedy areas though.

My wife absolutely adores our little guy and spoils him rotten!

As a US lawyer with 25 years experience as a partner with a large national firm and then owning my own firm for 15 years and dealing with many Thai lawyers and law firms over the years, I can tell you their attention to detail is lacking in many instances.
