Wasn't there a holiday about 2 weeks ago where thousands of Thais traveled to and fro provinces without being quarantined?

Thailand really is very good at shooting itself in the foot. With BLM / racial discrimination being so high on the global agenda - and as a country that relies on tourism, this becomes high on the agenda of Thailands customers. These actions are clumsy at best and paint Thailand in a poor light, opening the proverbial barn doors to Thailand being seen as an unfriendly country to foreigners.
unfortunately, despite the racism and discrimination in Thailand nothing is ever done about it and if you try to tell people back home what is going no one really gives a <deleted>. So same old same old and the beat goes on. Nothing will ever help these people join the mainstream...

Yes they are. More sophisticated than old foreigners sitting on bar stools emitting unnatural CO2 from their natural cavities.

And the govt are worried about Chinese Flu!
How about all the other dangers in Thailand, caused by corruption starting at the very top
Despite that there is in fact corruption I fail to see how corruption is involved here. Words like 'lazy, stupid, ignorant, disorganized' pop to mind as better alternatives...

Bring back the good old Thai feudal days. Educate the rich and let the rug-rats of the poor work side-by-side with their indentured parents in neo-slavery. Look at the Lakhon on TV. What are wonderful period of time. The rich were wealthy beyond belief and everyone else grovelled on the ground at their feet as things should be in a truly civilized Thai world. Let's bring back the good old days, 'eh? So take care of the rich Thai kids and forget about the rest. They're not going to have any future after the economy is collapsed so why bother educating them?
Why don't you add, "And let the sons of the rich rape the servants!" while your at it... ????

My wife followed this dog's adventures on social media... It broke her heart to hear he was killed. apparently a very nice and friendly dog. I would love for this guy to get what back what he did to the dog. I am an animal lover and I believe that we are our little creatures keepers. This guy is a creep.

Why all the civilian servants wear military uniforms?
Just like Thai teachers civil servants wear uniforms usually on Mondays and wear regular garb the rest of the week... hope this helps...

This guy was saying he wanted farang out of Thailand, now he could care less about his own countrymen's health. I really have no respect for a wanna be outlaw biker/singer like this twirp.
Let him go play with his fighting cocks... thet certainly are tougher and more reasonable than he is.

It never ceases to amaze me that these people can't recognise reckless driving, and driving with undue care and attention,
What about the recklessness of having 4 people on a motorcycle? Seems to me that this reduces the chances of doing an evasive maneuver...

More of Trumps America only to bring manufacturing back to the US , I hope Thailand will jam on the import tax to any GM/Chev vehicles ordered after the closures .
Be it Tump's politics or not, I really wonder what is going on in your mindset. Thailand is treating us and most likely foreign companies like total refuse and you are on their side? Really? I got screwed at immigration last visa renewal and this did nothing to make me like the Thai mindset anymore than I did before. I hope you buy a GM and get to pay the tax you surely seem to hope the Thais will slap on the product... wait , wait... maybe the Thais will slap taxes all across the board on cars as they have been doing for years...

Were I from a country like Australia where the weather is fair there is no way I would come here other than for a vacation.

It's a screwed up system! I understand if it's a worker the Thai family rely on for their income but a 77 year old is unlikely to be holding done a 9 to 5 job. Part time maybe.
Even then, if the old nutter was responsible why does the other party have to dish out anything?
I have heard of stories like this and it is a shame on any society that anyone would expect compensation when they are in the wrong. But I have a feeling this guy was working illegally and that there is something that is not being talked about here...

They should check the bullet casings for prints... I doubt a Thai guy would be smart enough to wear gloves when loading the gun. This is why a normal revolver with a chamber is always better for such a job... or that is what a friend of a friend told me... lol

I predict this thread will die an early death as no farang will be caught dead praising a Thai (no puns intended).
I think ThaiVisa forum should also be renamed ThaiBashing forum lol.
The words "bleeding heart" come to mind when I read posts like yours. Posts like this usually come from a 30 something who just met his first Thai girl and who is used to hearing "handsome man" wherever he goes.
