TCC Outlines 3-Point Revival Plan for Thai Economy
retarius replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Self-serving twaddle. Chinese are not coming because of their economy, not because of visa issues. Second, giving the companies in TCC more handouts won't improve the economy. Put money in poor peoples pockets, they spend all their money....but it's all given to the rich, who don't spend more because they have everything they could possibly want, or maybe spend it on a Ferrari or a yacht made abroad. -
Don't let the door hit you on the bottom on your way out.

Does crashing birthrate and aging society spell doom for Thailand?
retarius replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Many doctors and scientists now emerging in the US are implicating the COVID mRNA vaccine as the cause of this in the West. But Thailand mainly used the Sinovac vaccine on Thais, unfortunately for me, foreigners got the Pfizer vaccine, which poisoned me but didn't prevent COVID.- 97 replies

Justice Ministry Accused Of Granting Undue Privileges To Thaksin
retarius replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
You know what, I don't give a damn about the 3000 supposed dead drug dealers who were poisoning the youth of Thailand. The broke the law and paid the price.....tough luck to them. End of story. And he's not a Demi-god to me, I'm not even Thai. But I( live in the north east, not pampered Bangkok, and people here tell me that he did more for poor people here in 5 or 6 years than all of the other governments put together since 1932. Why should I believe your opinion about Thaksin over the people who actually benefited from his policies (like extending the electricity grid....my mother in law got electricity in her house in the first year of Thaksin's rule....no-one did it before, I wonder why. -
Citizens Await Digital Money, Hoping to Boost Economy
retarius replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Will electronic money make poor people richer? No it won't. The economy needs more money and a greater share of the national income to go to poor people, because poor people spend their money. Top keep giving the rich more, doesn't help anything. Henry Ford realised this a century ago, when he said his workers should be able to afford the cars they make. -
Opinion: Dear Pheu Thai, please stop your pantomime
retarius replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Sorry the culprit in all this is the military appointed senate, that was introduced to thwart democratic elections. It forced the hand of MF who refused to go along and so was left the PT to clean up the mess. Nothing undemocratic about it. And best of all, OT will get to appoint the next senate, and presumably stack it with those favourable to its party. MF was a one hit wonder, and will not sustain its success over the longer haul. It was only successful because they were unknown quantities, so all you saw were good points and not the bad. -

If I were you I'd pay the extra money and go to Bumrungrad.

Good idea. The only problem is getting them to pay out when you've handed over the premium. When you are over 70 you have pre-existing disease that gets the company off paying out.

Thai actress among 31 charged over illicit cyanide procurement
retarius replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Hang on just a minute.....she's set to be summonsed by the police next week. Isn't she already in custody having allegedly killed 15 people? You know like remanded in custody, in case she does a runner. I guess if she gets the death sentence, the judge will give her bail, like those 5 cops a few years back. Nice looking though. I like long legs on women. I wonder where she's hiding all the cyanide in that bikini. -

TAT Aims to Attract One Million Hong Kong Tourists
retarius replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
I'm so glad. If TAT aims for them, they'll come. Pretty soon TAT will have targets for the whole world.....let's see we've had targets for Indians, Chinese, Russians, Muslims and now Hongers. I feel really economically secure knowing that TAT is doing all this accurate forecasting. -
Absolutely none. I hate the place.
