  1. I live in quiet a large Condo in Central Pattaya and we have Sophon and I don't have anything to complain about. Your other (and only) options would be Banglamung Cable or TMN (Thipmanee) (do they service Central Pattaya??) or Truevision, but the last option would be to expensive (in my opinion).

In the Condo I stay in it's up to the renter / owner if they install Truevisions.

  2. <snip>

But maybe I misunderstood something else, too.

I got told, the 400/800k on a bank account has to be on a 'normal' bank account, so that the money is available.

    At all times.

Not only 'one/two times a month can get something', not on a time deposit account, either.

Because I know, that I have/can get a higher interest on this accounts.

That is/was my level of information.

I used for my Extension (marriage) a Fixed Deposit Bank Book, the money (over 400k) was deposited 8 Months ago.

This was accepted by Immigration in Jomtien.

But before I did my extension I showed them the Bank Book and they said it's oke to use.

  4. The most of car camera installed on the front of the car, it's on the windscreen, like this

    you do not need two.

We have in both of our cars two camera's, one is attached to the GPS and thus records (on screen) also speed and other things, this one is mounted on the Front Windscreen. And the other camera is just a "dumb" one that is attached to rear window.

If you read the post #9 from TimeKeeper.

You will see that 2 Camera's can make a difference

    <snip>

i had an incident recently where a motorbike clipped my rear quarter

i stopped the car and confronted them

they called someone and i was soon surrounded by a angry mob in an arriving pickup and the local roadside food vendors who were also anxious to get involved

despite being outnumbered 10 -1 by men. woman and children now armed with sticks they had found in the area

they soon relented when i calmly told them to go right ahead and smile as they were on camera

i had positioned myself so it could see all that what transpiring

after a few minutes they all disappeared, cursing and threatening when they saw it was running (led flashing)

i just laughed at them as they left but they had the last laugh as there is an ugly scar on the paint that will have to sorted eventually

never mind, at least i left unscathed ..........

  5. The Jazz Hybrid (excluding Electric Motor) has 88 PS. I don't think the Electric Motor will help you when you for example going up a mountain so forget about the extra 14 PS, so that makes it 32 PS less then the regular one and also the extra weight for the Jazz Hybrid (1166 vs 1115) doesn't help.

If you plan to go up country with the car, I would go for the CNG one.

  6. do you have the plug-in's that scb requires to use their site installed?

Glad the OP got it sorted.

happynt - Care to elaborate on the "plug ins"? I use SCB Internet banking and have never had to install/plug in anything extra?

I think he means the Flash Plugin
