I only use them to transfer money from my European Banks to my Thai Banks and they do that cheap and often very quick. I only keep money in my balances over there I can afford (but still would hate) to loose.

Email discussion. And what is the big deal. It was a lazada refund i was talking about and card was frozen and refund arrived back into the account even with the Card being frozen! Edit: My question with them was about that. If card is frozen will refund still arrive or does card need to be active

That is exactly how it went for me. Pin was given to me by Wise (could not change it) Edit: I disabled Contactless. Only use (when Unfreezed) ATM and Magnetic Strip and Chip Card

Just FYI. In the Wise Website you can create (and delete) virtual cards, which I use all the time for example I have one for Lazada, for Grab etc etc. You get all the details needed to pay with these Cards (remember they are virtual) and you can also Freeze or Unfreeze them when necessary. I always freeze them direct after USE, and after a discussion with WISE even a ReFUND (from for example Lazada) will reach your Card even when the card has been frozen and it really works, so Card was Frozen and refund arrived.

You can say that again. Last order Sushi from a well known Restaurant, first order - No Driver available. 2nd time, I choose Priority Delivery and order was already in the kitchen and again - No Driver available. Got a phone call from the Restaurant if we could pick it up ourselves and if we went we got a substantial discount (order was well over 1k THB) but unfortunately was not able to go (that's why used Grab)

@simon43 It is already a long time since I have that Card, but Wise choose the pin code for me, but maybe this has changed IMHO install the App on your phone and then a authorization goes through your phone. Only caveat is that it needs internet connection

Same here. Card was sent to my address in Europe and then send via Fedex by my friends to me in Thailand. After that I had to activate the card on the website / app. Suggestion for the OP. But strange IMHO that modifying the route (see the BIG DOT (in between 344 and 3289) in this picture) on the PC doesn't get transferred to the Mobile Device. What does Google Maps do with these added Stops? Just announce them or????

I think I solved it already. Just added different stops on the route I want to follow on the PC and then send to the Phone and then I can choose the exact route as I made it on the PC.

Example this is route I want to take and have made on the PC And this is how it shows up on the Phone Totally different and doesn't keep the route I made on the PC. Any ideas how to change this?

I am making some routes with Google Maps on the PC, but after sending them to my iPhone they are not as I made them on the PC but just general routes. There are some roads I just don't wanna take as I know there is a lot of construction going on but Google Maps (on the Phone still wants to send me down that Road and on the PC I selected another road. Any ideas?

That is why I said AFAIK and guaranteed in quotes ???? I know because I only get 1 MiB dowloading from local servers sometimes

I think we have asked about a 6-8 times already, after that I stopped asking. I am not bothered anymore especially as I can do "everything" I want in our OLD house (NO Cgnat, dedicated IP address), but it would be nice to have in our current house. When on the road I just watch movies from my NAS (which also runs a torrent client (via VPN)) in our OLD house and that works great, but is sometimes a pain (rebooting etc etc) as the old house is 20kms away from us ????

Afaik the speed they list is only "guaranteed" within Thailand and I guess that means only to their servers. For example downloading Linux updates from ku.ac.th goes with only a speed of a couple of MiB ????

Not really that I am already running (BitWarden for example) at our OLD house as TOT did not have problem with it, and we have there also a dedicated IP address and NOT on CGNAT. Connect from here to a RASPI running a Wireguard Server. But why I want Bridge Mode here, is that I really don't trust the NON Updated (OLD) Routers from 3BB. Last time it firmware was updated was 2020 I believe. One of the reasons why I am at the moment running DOUBLE NAT.

I already showed the BIL how to set the alarm clock on his phone because usually I walk to the tank. See how full it is, walk to the pump, turn it on and set the alarm on my phone or wait at the tank but i have now in total (i think) at least 5-6 times showed him how to do it, but every time he forgets. Heart of gold this guy, but his memory is like a sieve.

I just wait at the tank and when it’s almost full walk to the pump and turn it off. BIL is forgetful as …… and he just walks away goes and do other things and then forgets to turn off the pump anf yes we have shown him how to do it. He was supposed to come by again today but he FORGOT ????

We did not get that document how many times should I repeat that? And when we asked 3BB for that username and password they would NOT give it to us asked more then once. No issue for me as well, just use DOUBLE NAT

Have you read the OP? I ask specifically not to mention that as A) no time to do it B) don’t have the knowledge to do it. already posted a long long time a topic about it and conclusion was NOT going to happen in the foreseeable future.
