  1. I agree, but for sure I can let you know in 2 weeks as then our Feb - Mar bill is due. I also wonder if then the discount of the Standard service charge (38.22 THB -> 24.62 THB) is still in effect.
  2. Shouldn't that read "escape the Conscription"?
  3. Isn't the KTB major share holder the Government?
  4. Exactly. It takes approx 30+ min for each bank (if you are lucky) and don't forget that you NOT only need the Bank Letter but you also need the Statements (going back 3,6 months or 1 year)
  5. Watch the vid and have a look what he thinks it should approx cost and what PEA quoted him. You are in for a shock
  6. Isn't that red card another word for "black-listed" ?
  7. But many days during the rainy season without any sunshine and he has NO backup. The generator idea is a real good one. I still wonder why the high markup by PEA and if there is a way around it.
  8. ???? But I wonder if his 5kW inverter will be enough for all of his house, plus 15kW Battery will in the rainy season run out very quickly.
  9. That will be very useful for many in rural areas with the rising electricity prices
  10. A lot of the IP addresses I get with 3BB I have to do the captcha verification. (on google for example) I haven't asked for a dedicated IP address yet, but doubt I can get it as I am behind CGNAT so they must be really running out of ip addresses.
  11. Then strange, I used the Internet connection of my Phone and connected to the PC, disable the LAN card on the PC and used then Internet via the Phone and it connects fine. And more strange then why in your Case BRAVE doesn't work. Instead of TiT we have a case of TiC (this is computers 55555555555)
  12. @Foxx But then why does it work via my Mobile AIS connection? See Post #1 (and that was not through a VPN) this seems to be a problem with 3BB and IMHO not geoblocking
  13. Thx Komrad Makes perfect sense, but can you then explain why Brave (on 3BB) loads it and for example Firefox (on 3BB) doesn't.
  14. @Mutt Daeng What kind of add-ons did you load in Brave Browser? For example any that mask your location? Edit: I guess one of the members who posted above is correct in suggesting that it is "country blockade" but they are doing it wrong, instead of giving a "not allowed" or something they are given you a Botched Site. Edit 2: They should have done it like this
  15. I find it very strange that Brave can show the whole site. This is a tracert to the site and you can see it starts timing out after Hop 19 and (IMHO) it should do the same with Brave Browser. Unless Brave has some VPN on board that bypasses it. Can anyone explain this? Edit: With VPN on it times out at the same HOP ???? but the page loads
  16. This is only for members who have 3BB When I open with my 3BB connection https://www.poferries.com/en I get this I have tried it with Firefox and Microsoft Edge and I did a tracert and it started timing after hop 19 (which is ae106-0.icr04.lon22.ntwk.msn.net [104.44.32.19]) I connected my phone to my PC and using that Internet connection it works (Phone use AIS). Thx
  17. Thx, but will a clinic give me a prescription for drugs they did not give me? But worth a try. They will be in unopened packs and the medicine is in a "pop pack" thus not in bottles. Certainly does Thx
  18. I am flying to the Netherlands. I once got stopped at that Airport by a Customs agent and he saw my 2nd pair of glasses and started about VAT etc etc etc and when I said "I wear glasses all time so I need a spare pair and they were bought in Holland (which was true)" he reluctantly let me through, since then I am a bit paranoid. Yeah I could go and see the Doctors (2 of them, one for each medicine) but my next appointment is approx 6 months away and the Docs are not that close to me. One is in Bangkok one is in Korat. But I guess that is the only option if I don't want to for that ..... customs agent take away my medicine upon arrival
  19. I have to go for approx 1-2 months back to my Home Country. Now I want to take (what is over there) prescription medicine but here OTC Medicine with me. The Medicine (which the Doctor said I have to take and I then afterwards bought myself in a Pharmacy as it's OTC medicine here) I use is Trilipix 135 mg Xatral XL 10 mg What is the best way to prevent overzealous customs agents, at my Home Countries Airport confiscate my medicine? TiA Ps: It will be only a 2 month supply which I am going to bring with me so 2 packs each and thus 4 packs in total. Edit: Question 2: And I fly through Dubai airport will that be a problem with that medicine. I got the advice to put it in my checked luggage and not in my carry-on.
  20. And because it's heavily polluted (the air) they will even charge extra for it
  21. Yeah but it doesn’t have the categories on it, A,B etc etc so that is why I suggested it.
  22. Wouldn't it be better to get (also) an IDP from your local Thai Department of Transportation? https://internationaldrivingpermit.org/country/thailand-international-driving-permit/
  23. Looking for a Hotel in the area around Bumrungrad Hospital for around 1k at night. Suggestions welcome
  24. I can only say one thing. Please do get a 2nd opinion thus do not rush getting the surgery.
