Update: PEA Bill Received. The guy got here at 6:29am We used more then last month but strangely enough we got a DISCOUNT on the FT. Do others see that as well for example @007 RED as your bill should be coming today as well Edit: NO added amounts only Discounts thus GTI's are going back into action again today. Edit 2: Maybe the Visit by the PEA the guys thought "hey he is helping making the planet a little greener by using Solar Panels let's give him some discount"

???? if they come around, just say we have been away. We had a "Visit" of the PEA and nothing happened to us yet (???? also), maybe tmrw we will get an updated bill (but that is just guessing). Our System has been dismantled since the visit, but when I don't hear anything tmrw (or nothing is added to our Bill etc) it's going back to normal (read: Export) tmrw after the meter reader has left as it's just a 10 min Job

Just use CashLess withdrawal then via the APP, I don't have an ATM card for my BBL accounts and the APP works fine. I also use that for my SCB account (haven't used that ATM card in a long while)

Yep I have 2 accounts with BBL, one in Pattaya and in Buriram. With SCB (still registered in Pattaya) I pay fees if I withdraw with an ATM outside my own province, with BBL I don't know as that Pattaya account is dormant. Nope, they don't move accounts. You have to open a new account. Don't close the account you may need it in the future, but DO leave sufficient funds (something 10k THB) in the account. A amount much lower then that could incur fees and then if the account reaches Zero it will be closed.

Depends on the Bank, with SCB I did a "renewal" in my local (current) province branch which is different (approx 500kms) from the original branch

My SCB account is still in Pattaya (I live in Buriram) and I haven't had to visit that Pattaya SCB branch for anything (ATM, Passbook, Immigration etc etc etc) in the last 5 years. All done at a local Buriram SCB Branch. The only thing is with SCB if you use your ATM in a other province then you will be charged some money (I believe 15thb) but you can easily get around that by using the APP and use CardLess Withdrawal.

Yep, first marriage extension we lived in Pattaya but wife was registered in a Blue Book of her Parents house in Buriram. No issues with Immgiration

Update and a heads up: Re the Visit, no news. We still have our old METER but will wait and see what tmrw brings. Heads up: Because this month is February, which is shorter then "normal" months our Meter reader already comes tmrw so for the guys that EXPORT, turn it off today. Our Meter reader normal schedule is: - Months with 31 days he comes on the 16th - Months with 30 days he comes on the 15th - February No Leap Year he comes on the 13th - February Leap year (2024) he comes on the 14th.

Agree, but when someone posts a ???? emoji in reply to a post then you can quote that post and get into a discussion (if you want). But with just a emoji then (when the member doesn't have any posts in that topic) you are stuck to send him/her a PM if you want to know why he/she reacted that way. Emoji reactions, the way I see it, are more anonymous then typing a post (but that is just me)
