But what can the consequences be for standing up for yourself and your fellow queuers?
I saw a doccuemtary once, which showed some CCTV footaage of a fast food take away in London. A lady jumped the queue and placed her order, much to the annoyance of someone already queuing, who demonstrated his objections. The queue jumper left the take away, and a minute of so later her boyfriend entered, who just happened to be about 200 KG in weight. The boyfriend took one swing at the objector, laying him flat out cold.

I phond VFS Global who deal with UK visitor visas, and they told me translations are not needed
-
You are politely queuing, waiting your turn, patiently, the person in front of you has just ben served, and you are just about to approach the till, when someone appears from nowhere, and puts their goods down on till. What do you do? Is it worth saying anything? Or do you just say, 'This is Thailand', and accept it?
Happened to me in Svensens the other day, and I said, ''Ermm'', moving forward next to her, followed by a ''Thank you'', and made sure the cashier took my money first.
What do you do? Some places/situatons it might be a bit harder to react.

To answer my own question;
My GF said I do not need to get any Thai language docuements translated, so I phoned VFS Global, and they confirmed what my GF said.

Hi, if i was to schedule an online appointment, would i be able to choose the day / time i wish to go?
If i chose to go in person when the offices first open, without making an online appointment, is the queing system relatively quick?
I will be handing in a UK tourist visa application. All docuememts are in English, except my girlfriends divorce papers. Would VF Global want this to be translated? I know they ask for all thai papers to be translated.
thanks

I have had a few fly into the house, but luckily they normally fly out and are not a problem. But what are they? Wasps? Do they have a sting? If so, is it painful? They look as if they can pack a punch. I would not want to mess with one.

hi, i dont know too much about house building in Thailand, but in the UK, you lay your foundations and start. in thailand, i understand you have to put some soil down first, then wait about a year, then start. why the difference? is it possible to follow the Uk method and start straight away?

Hi. from a legal perspective, is it possible for a non thai to build a 2 or 3 storey condo style property, on 1 rai of land. the non thai can then own the top floor, and the bottom floor / 1st floor, is owned by thai nationals ( my girlfriend and her family ). if this question is a stupid one, then i apologise for my stupidness
thanks in advance

sorry Astral. i have never used sky player before. i have just used it now, and it plays the movies without being connected to the internet, so i guess the movies must be stored on my computer. so, hopefully it will work in Thailand.
No need for any download sites now
thanks

can anyone PM me a link to a download site that doesnt need a credit card pls. ( even though most sites say the download is free - it will ask for a cc )
-
hi, thanks for tip, but have tried to find a site that does not require a CC. but cant. so i will have to give it a miss

Hi, i have downloaded some movies uses skyplayer. ( these are downloaded to my skyplayer, rather than my desktop ). when i want to watch them in thailand, will i have any problems. i know thailand blocks access to sites such as bbc i player etc, so i am thinking maybe sky player falls under that category. but if i dont need the internet to access the movies, then maybe i can see in thailand ( or maybe it needs the internet, in which case i wont be able to )
thanks in advance

you are generally allowed to take on the plane, 1 x lap top bag and 1 x small personal bag + your suitcase
the lap top would normally go in it's own bag, and stay on your person, and not in the suitcase
i have read mixed reports about what duty free you can bring into Thailand, so I will leave that to someone else to answer. But I will be bringing into Thailand next week 1 x bottle of wine and that is it. ( plus i guess you could bring in at least 200 ciggies )
but for the wine, is it by bottle or liter; for instance if its those fourths of bottles as opposed to a regular bottle of wine; how much is 200 cigs? how many packets or is that one carton?
ill tell the guy with the lap top no prob...
i think it means just one litre bottle of alcohol ( spirit or wine ); pls correct me if i am wrong. i have read various forum posts, and i believe this to be true

How Do I Become More ''Regluar''?
in Health and Medicine
Posted
Whenever I am in LOS (7 weeks), I have a poo maybe once every four days. I only eat fast food once a week, and have typical Thai food the rest of the time, (apart from toast, poached eggs and fried bacon for breakfast). i eat fruit every day as well, and take vitamin supplement.
Is there anything i can do, or take, to make me more 'regluar'? In my home country I am a ''1 a day'' man![](//forum.thaivisa.com/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png)
thanks
