IO didn't ask for proof. - I completed the TDAC thing online before flying and entered the DTV number and my flight out to Japan scheduled for mid July. IO didn't ask to see the email or QR. I guess it's their system. - On the TDAC I wrote that I was a UK resident, which is partially true. I didn't want to write that I was a resident here. - I can't remember the reason for coming that I wrote, but it was either meeting or business or maybe something else. The IO at BKK this afternoon was very nice, and stamped me in until end of December, although I'll be popping out several times before then. In summary, all good, fast, and hassle free.

Considering the distance, and the amount of people that the can attract to pay, I feel a one-stop flight is always the best option. I find Emirates hard to beat. I'm in the UK and came on EVA, who I love.
