Thais don,t wear helmets or have a license,some do of course.Indians or Arabs may live in thailand too and do the same.Many bike gangs everywhere with big bikes and scooters ride around and make some noise.It happens in many parts of asia.just a way for the police to make some tea money on any bike rider. Everyday in cnx they is a spot where police check riders and bikes for license and helmet.They don,t care who it is,no license or helmet.you are fined and pay on the spot over at that desk.Just a thing the police do in thailand

All depends in how people get a visa for their stay. If they make them go thru hoops or make it reasonable. i have my ticket for jan,now checking in getting the right visa and info from the embassy. They maybe right but all depends on a few factors and then they will return

They was a bar on the road to jomtien i went there many yrs ago.Don,t know if it is still there but they had a fish tank and the young ladies swam in it.Maybe someone in pattaya know the place and it is still there

That would be nice a 3 mths visa on entry.From what i know a multi 6 mths type visa you need to show paperwork and a certain amount in the bank that has being in they a long time.I will be looking into a visa and the rules soon for the next high season,hope it will be easy since all the previous paperwork is dead now

One time in pattaya i saw in a bar,it was afternoon.2 police come in had a chat and bottle of coke of course.I left was down the road a bit saw the officers carrying a bottle of johnny walker black towards the police station.They were not trying to hide it and walked calmly towards beach rd.In cnx my friend had a bar and he had a evenlope with 1500 for the police to collect every mth.He made no secret of this fact and every bar had that standard price .Everyone knows the brown evenlope exist,no point hiding this fact
