Don,t know how Airbnb in bangkok works,but they are many hotels in the city for every price that suits you.When I book a hotel in bkk ring them pay when I arrive sorted,If i don,t make it the hotel will take a walk in as I have done before . Could be a delay with the plane or something like that,when I tried in jan booked and paid the quarantine hotel.Visa rules changed and I had to cancel,7 days before the arrival date to get my money back,it took nearly 6 weeks and a few ph calls to receive it.Without me telling them well before the 7 day deadline i would have lost that money.So Airbnb should play fair if a no show happens and the reason is valid
