It is not how high the ground is but how high the water table is compared to the bottom of you sink tank.You could try a so called French drainage system.This should not cost a lot and is easy to do.Just installing another cement tank will not solve the problem i think.The cement tank does not have a bottom in it and when the soil becomes water logged your system will back up.

The problem is the overflow can not sink into the ground when there is a lot of rain.Probably not a pipe issue but only a rainy season issue? You could make your overflow area bigger or put coarse sand or gravel near the pipes. That is what we did here and no more problem (except when it is flooded).

I have camped many times on a beach here in Thailand,no problem whatsoever! If it is a beach with absolutely no other people you can do it also but of course you need some facilities. What i usually do is find a beach with a restaurant nearby or something like that. I ask for use of shower and toilet if i buy my meals and drinks there,always accepted and they will even keep an eye out for you. Be very nice and respectful and you will find the Thai people will be the same. There is a big increase of camping after Covid and you will see many younger Thais traveling together on motorbikes and camping. Have fun!

We have been doing that already and it does not do the trick. Never no direct sunshine in there but always the coolest part of the house.

This has happened and will happen every year,not easy to drain water if it is nearly the same level as the sea.
