  1. You can bet that within 6 months ferang selling tours will be on the list of thai only jobs.

Working as a retailer already is on the list of restricted occupations.

Retailer maybe ,but according to another report on here working a tour desk is not one of the restricted occupations, who really knows I suppose it depends how much money you pay to certain people

  2. It shouldn't make a difference what revs you are at when you shift unless you are trying to make clutchless shifts.

As a note on my crf quite often when you start engine then pull clutch in to go into first it won't go you have to let clutch out then in again and all is fine.

  3. If you already have a thai wife and three children the eldest being 12 and have land here I would presume you have been in a long term relationship and had ties to Thailand for a while ,surely you must no the answers to the questions already unless you have been living with your head in the sand for the last century ,does your wife think it's enough it's up to her what lifestyle she wants or is looking for.

yep the ambassadors are one of the few people who are in a position to do something talk is cheap and means nothing,it's probably more like a holiday for them ,oh this week I visited Phuket stayed in nice hotel and then we visited krabi and again stayed in a nice hotel.

Just a nice little holiday for them away from the hustle and bustle of bangkok

  5. you are never gonna get 42meg download speed from a phone think iphone max speed is 7.2 on my galaxy tab the fastest speed ive seen is 7 meg download and limited to 3 or 5 gig then the speed slows to 1/2 meg

we have 2 sims for phones think 599bht a month 1 gb download limit and we have 1 sim for tab 5 gb download limit 899

Just ran a half dozen tests on speedtest.net on my Galaxy S3 in Ao Luek, Krabi using Truemove-H SIM. Averaged about 8.5Mbps download and 1.2Mbps upload. FWIW it chose a server in Kuala Lumpur as the best to run the speed test from. Guess it's better connected to here than Bangkok where the tests are normally run from in Thailand.

I never meant I would get 42Mbps speed on my phone, I was just saying that on paper their network claims top speed of that. I think its reasonable to assume most people know that's not really how it works thumbsup.gif

Great thanks for posting the results,8 meg is easily fast enough for most users I think even 4-5 meg is fastest enough for most ,but seeing the high speeds in hong kong does show how lacking Thailandr network is,although it's been good improvement over the last 2 years.

that is quick and I like to see pictures to back up claims ,just one other thing speediest dial only goes up to 20 meg so I do wonder how accurate that is.

I have read that apple claim download speeds of 150 meg so definitely possible but still we are talking Thailand true move and 3G ,not hong kong and lte.

the fastest speed got from the test for iPhone 5 was 23 meg over 10 test the average was 20 meg

All pretty irrelevant since we are in Thailand and only have 3G and true,I was correct that the iPhone 4 tops out and 7.2 meg and your never gonna get 42 meg from a phone in Thailand at least not this year.

  8. Below is the results of some test done in USA the iPhone 5 is a lot quicker believe it's 4g lte you may have along wait for that in Thailand

Mate of mine gets 34meg down and 17 up in Hong Kong on his Iphone.

    totster :)

The info I have seen and what many peole on here say is that iPhone is not capable of anything faster than 7.2 but I believe that was iPhone 4 things might have changed with iPhone 5, I only use iPhone 3 which seems only capable of 4-5 meg maximum

Have seen another pic off a crf on a thai forum where this actually bent his frame, mine looks nothing to serious and warranty is not gonna cover crash damage worst case scenario would be having to reweld footpeg back on if it come completely off, suppose you could claim on insurance if it was serious damage to frame.

  12. Very interesting, I did not know that the “Made in Thailand” Ducati Monster 795 was only produced for 12% in Thailand. So that makes me wonder if even Ducati can claim “Made in Thailand” with only 12% parts produced in Thailand, how much parts of the “Assembled in Thailand” Honda CBR500R, CB500F, and CB500X are actual Thai parts.

The rumor and the increased Chinese container shipments to the Thai motorcycle facility actual tells us maybe the truth of the origin…

Would that be the rumour you are trying start by any chance, it's pretty obvious the parts come from japan Richard ,just as I proved to you with the crf wheels when you was trying to tell me that klx/crf uses the same wheels as Chinese manufactures funny they have a big stamp on saying made in japan.
