Providing a counterpoint to the drivel you post is an AN community service, not a complaint.

Just as insightful as your one line reviews of all the one-horse towns you've visited and the 30 baht noodles that are haute cuisine that you desperately seek out. Ralph Wiggum could do a better job.

Ruffians more like it ????

From what I can gather, most of the dudes in here who use or recommend agents only know of reputable ones, not dodgy ones. So we can only tell you the price for the good agents, should we deign to. Not really inclined to do so as it's been discussed in here ad nauseam. There was a thread the other day from a BM in Hua Hin who got mixed up with a dodgy agent that messed him around. Perhaps you can find that post and ask the OP how much that dodgy agent cost.

90 Day Report Online - How long pending?
Lemsta69 replied to ubonrthai's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
No, you only do a TM47 if you've been in the Kingdom continuously for 90 days. If you leave for an overseas trip then the 90 clock resets. When you come back to Thailand then the clock starts again on the day you return. They don't give you a report date at the airport, you have to work it out yourself. An online date calculator can help with this, just add 89 days to the date of your return to Thailand. -
I think the service is aimed at the young folk, not Chicken Little types who are afraid to cross the road.

Don't even need to do that, the URL and the App name are clearly visible in the photo. Apologies to anyone that is optically challenged, thankfully I can still make out the detail.

Transition from non B visa to non O visa

Yes, but a TR60 is not a Non-Immigrant visa. -
Transition from non B visa to non O visa

Your agent is either lying to you or is incompetent. A quick Google search brings up a couple of previous threads, including one from the late great Ubon Joe, that say it is a fairly straightforward process to change the reason for your extension of stay from employment to retirement. https://aseannow.com/topic/1085564-non-b-conversion-to-retirement-visa/ https://aseannow.com/topic/1304886-non-b-to-non-o-retirement/ -
An electric 'tuk tuk' that runs on a fixed route for a fixed price is Thailand's main tourist attraction? Are you sure you're an old hand?
-
2 pax is 649 baht, not 798. Which is apparently a lot of money for some of the young people so maybe the OP should just walk instead, like that English couple who have been spamming this site with their attempt at a travel blog ????

Thailand Wrestles with the Ripple Effects of Cannabis Decriminalisation
Lemsta69 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Ha ha I thought it was by Adam Judd as well because I didn't bother to click on the link but if you do you'll see it's written by some chap named Tom Sinclair from Pembrokeshire (whatever that is ????) -
Thailand Wrestles with the Ripple Effects of Cannabis Decriminalisation
Lemsta69 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Oops I got it wrong, despite it saying "by Adam Judd" the article was written by this chap: "Tom Sinclair https://pembrokeshire-herald.com/ Tom is the editor of https://pembrokeshire-herald.com/ and a frequent guest writer for us as he often visits Thailand and enjoys the culture and history." Sorry, I didn't click on the link to the Pattaya News article like I normally would, the tone of the first few paragraphs put me off and now I know why ???? -
It's in the photo the OP attached, on the roof of the "tuk tuk". https://www.tuktukhop.com/ I didn't delve into the full details viz routes and value-for-money because it doesn't interest me. As I said above, EV tuk tuks are an abomination ????
-
you don't need to speak Thai, the website is in English ????
-
Prices are on the website?
-
The price for that hop on hop off service is fixed and looks quite reasonable. Only downside seems to be that the tuk tuk isn't actually a tuk tuk because it's an EV and therefore doesn't make the proper sound.
-
Sure, why not? But you'd want a proper ICE tuk tuk with a big fat noisy exhaust, flashing lights and a bangin' sound system. Not that sedate looking EV thing in the picture. And yes l, I am being serious.

Why do people on here call Thailand the land of smiles?
Lemsta69 replied to bignok's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
That's an updated version of the slogan with "it begins with the people" tracked on to the end. The marketing brochure that can be found at the link below should put the matter to rest...
