Denied permission to leave.

There's a made-up rule called "Stay Thailand too much". Normally this gets invoked when you try to enter the country but at some land borders they see your history and decide you're not going to be allowed back Visa Exempt. So they deny you permission to exit because...well that part I haven't figured out yet. It could be too protect you as border bouncers may not have come prepared for a trip to Phnom Penh to get a tourist visa. Or it could be they just don't want to deal with the hassle of denying you re-entry when you bounce back from Cambodia. -

Do you already have 800k in the bank for at least two months? Jomtien are insisting that the funds are seasoned for in-country non-O applications. -
I think he went once and couldn't handle the realness of the place so fled to the dullness and safety of a one horse town where nothing bad ever happens because 'normal' Thais are angels ????

Jomtien's gone rogue on Non-Imm O visa
Lemsta69 replied to Pattaya57's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Go to a nearby country and get a tourist visa or non-O and move on with your life, you can't fight City Hall as it were. Also from what I've read in the Health and Medicine forum, the local insurance policies aren't up to snuff and that the international ones are the go. -
Some people prefer to purchase a Retail product key instead of a cheap eBay OEM key so @MJCM's link to InvadeIT was perfectly fine.
-
you need a Windoze Product Key to activate it.

Yeah they're the 7-Eleven of hospitals only not quite so reasonably priced ????

Plenty of people reports here saying that IO want TM30 printouts, it comes up quite regularly. You have to read ALL the posts and comments. We know that neither online option provides a receipt so in lieu of that it is advised to ask for a screenshot from the app or the website then print it out if necessary. If your tenants haven't been harassed by IO for a printout then bully for them however their experience is not universal.
-
It hasn't been implemented yet.
-
Lots of reports in here that some IOs insist on a printout of the TM30 registration.

Agents to open bank account

Your mate came in Visa Exempt not VOA, they're not the same. Also the whole point of the OP it's that Parhum Thani office apparently won't do a CoR and neither will his embassy. -
That's also my understandingv but hey, why let facts get in the way of a good Thai bash ????

Single re-entry permit is only 1K. Also the 700 baht is a fee levied by the airport authority, nothing to do with where bind proposed here by a separate branch of government ????????????
-
No, it's not a proposed increase from 700 baht to 1000 baht, it's a completely separate tax. The 700 baht you refer to is a Passenger Service Charge and is paid to the the relevant airport (in the case of BKK & DMK that's Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited). More details in the link below. PSC applies at all airports for both domestic and international travel. Amount depends on the location. https://thailand.go.th/issue-focus-detail/002_021

I think you misunderstood my post, probably because I lapsed into Aussie talk. Let me rephrase: you're wasting your time trying to educate some of the folk in here. They believe that gristle on a stick is just as good as filet steak ???? ps. my coffee credentials are that I grew up in Sydney. Some good coffee down that way thanks to the Italians introducing their "Expresso" machines. Without the wo...I mean New Australians, Australia would be a cultural desert. I'm by no means a connoisseur but I have drunk enough espresso to know good from bad. At least I think I do, happy to be proven wrong ???? -

Nope, not espresso coffee. The temperature should be less than boiling, random websearch shown below. Same goes for the milk but I CBF looking it up. Espresso coffee is an art and why good baristas are revered as saints by some coffee drinkers. I suspect this is what the OP is driving at, ie. that the owners of the particular franchise that went bust had no idea about any of this sort of stuff and therefore served up crap to the customers. https://www.homegrounds.co/espresso-temperature/ -
Hi Sheryl, would you mind telling us the names of those hospitals and possibly the name of a good GP to consult? I've been to the one that's adjacent to a certain privately-owned street famous for its nightlife but I wasn't particularly impressed by the GP I saw so I stopped going. I'm overdue for some bloodwork so greatly appreciate any assistance you can provide.
