Aside from the National carrier, which other Thai operators actually fly to Europe....any ?
-
Not just lorries. you also get those ignorant/selfish types in their cars and pick-ups, who hog the "outside lane" and go no faster than the ( mostly slow)vehicles in the nearside lane.
Then you look in your rear view mirror and you see a pack of them on your bumper, backed up like Lewis Hamilton engaged in a re-start, jostling and bristling impatiently to overtake.
They create so many unnecessary dangerous situations that it becomes an art form to avoid becoming collateral damage when it all goes tits-up.

So is the government and military going to stop the train bring the farmers to Bangkok. Or maybe block their trackers from entering the city.
I don't expect so because these are real protesters with a real reason to go out.
Not gullible children sent out by some coward hiding back at home who are saying they are protesting against corruption when in fact the sole purpose is political activism.
Red shirts can't even tell the truth about why they are protesting. Is there a shred of honesty in any of them ?.
I wonder if you can actually see the difference or not. My guess is yes, but you are made of the same stuff as they are and are pretending something else because it suits you.
ps. It's tractors, not trackers. Just sayin' to help you look a bit more literate next time.
It's "saying", actually.

I see at least the Thais do notice the pedestrians on the pedestrian crossings these days, they dont stop for them, in fact they dont slow down at all, but they lay on their horns as they go thru which is a start
talking to my friends betweens us we have six 6 people badly injured on Beach Road pedestrian crossings and there must be many more. its time they put some footbridges over the road and got rid of the fake crossings
True, Thais have started to use their horns, but I do not see this as a positive thing. It shows impatience.
They're discovering that using the horn can be sanuk ...no fun to be had in using indicators, however !

Well done in ascertaining that these 4 seemingly randomly chosen individuals, who all voluntarily made themselves known ,are not IS connected ,,
How about finding or disclosing more information about the 10 who are supposedly suspected of being a threat.....but who have gone missing ???
-
If the authorities were aware of, and permitted these "suspects" to enter the Kingdom, then they should be questioned as to which type of visa they were granted, and whether their current whereabouts can be ascertained (as should be the case).
If not, then the public should be made aware that there is indeed a genuine reason to take this perceived threat seriously.
Conversely they could alleviate concerns by announcing and demonstrating that said suspects have left the Kingdom,if that is the case.

Can't deny that this guy had lost the plot and was being an utter <deleted>. However I have also witnessed a "poor Thai" needing to be physically carried from a bar to his pick-up for him then to attempt driving home.If you do not know what dodgy is . Here is another fine example as to why the Thai government needs to stop these idiots and put them back on the plane before they are let loose on the poor Thais. I wonder why the Thais do not think highly of us.
Believe me, they think highly enough of "us" and will tolerate much when there is financial gain to be had.
Commendable restraint shown by the taxi drivers.

In itself it is a very sad story, yet it needs to be considered in context of the horrendous, inhumane atrocities committed on innocents by this evil group. Those victims never had any choice in their fate. Shed a tear for this young individual then you must cry a river for the children slaughtered by the group that she joined.
-
Consider themselves lucky that the taxi driver actually indicated he was pulling out and also appears to have stopped once he saw them. Bikes going faster than and weaving through traffic are a menace to themselves.
-
He (or she perhaps ? ) "fled leaving his vehicle behind" !!!
Doesn't much look like he/she could have taken it with them !
-
"The pair said the motorbike drivers may have mistaken them for police due to their close relations with many police officers."
To whom a share of the spoils, perchance ?
-
Is not the fact that countless members of the Royal Thai Police (of varying seniority) have been "suspended from duty" in recent times, a clear enough indicator then ?
That's an opinion, not a fact. And that opinion clearly shows your point of view and way of thinking, negative. And yes, that is my opinion.Disagree. The negativity is vented at anything and at every (perceived) opportunity.
It could also be that there is just a lot of reason for negativity.
Hard to get down to facts in this discussion because it has a lot of emotions in it but the negativity has an origin.
Maybe there's too much negativity, maybe not enough. Fact is, there's lot of things going very wrong.

Obviously wasn't a date-rape drug then.

Stop with all the talk and put 1 million boots on the ground. It's long overdue!!!! Many more innocent people are going to die if you just continue your useless bombing campaigns.
I agree......Trained soldiers are there to take care of OUR situation. All parties should be talking to take the shit out.......We did it in 39/45....We did it with the Bosnia stuff, we can do it with this trash.....
39/45 Armies had uniforms. These guys will melt into the general populace and conduct a guerrilla war like what happened in Iraq
Could be, but think ISIS must have a beard and wear black with a knife between their teeth...Easily spotted...
...and that's just the women !

No, the problem is the negativity shown by many posters here on TV.Pure negativity in responses. It is pitiful what this forum has come to. You guys will cry over anything and everything.
the problem is that with every story we read the answer to it is always blatently obvious. thay havnt caught the tout....why? cos the tout pays the police. or did i miss something?
Actually, all the negativity originates and is directly proportional to the negative manner in which the RTP routinely go about their "business".

Are these spirits only concerned with Thais or will they also have issues with foreigners who happen to reside in their country ? Intrigued to hear a Thai perspective on this.

Praise where due, as there was no damage done to anyone or anything (including the road sign)and he was not considered to be under the influence, then the officers acting accordingly and commendably in assisting him.

Meanwhile single handedly destroying tourism in Chiang Mai. Great job! All bars and live music venues close at 12. Some closed completely for days. Tourists thrown on the streets at 23.30 by gestapo like uniforms. Lots of bad blood. These tourists will NEVER be back. And tell their friends.
It'll be nice and quiet next year.... Carry on!
Unfortunately, millions of Chinese, who don't frequent the bars, would disagree with you. Those that you say would never return, will head to Phuket or Samui for their " cultural" experience next time .
-
Also. not being a "single male" means that he won't have to wear make-up and women's nightwear to fool that nasty Mae Mai ghost, who may otherwise come and take him during his sleep.
-
Anyone wonder if "enforcing inspection policies for private vehicles" will signal an end to the endless stream of motorcycles/cars with headlights/brake lights missing? As if..........
-
A greater danger being the seemingly increasing number of "loose canons" at large in society.
-
The most dangerous place to be in Thailand ?..... the middle of the road waiting to turn right. All junctions, intersections, traffic lights, u-turns are so hazardous, due in part to their design, but mostly to the reckless, selfish, inconsiderate and impatient nature of the vast majority of road users.

Politeness and patience can wear thin even amongst the most saintly, especially once your meal has been interrupted for the 5th time in as many minutes.

This chap is totally deserving of our praise .I am a firm believer that uplifting stories deserve positive comments, just as negative newsfeeds deserve damning comments.
