UPATE!!!!! Went Thursday 21/09/23 .Arrived 13:45hrs . second in the queue to get my paper work checked and a numbered ticket issued ..... worked out with re entry stamp in my passport at 14:07 hrs Happy bunny ????

Yeah ! I am well aware I just wanted a few Riels to tide me over for the first couple of days. , plus I'll be out in the sticks where the $ is less easy to use . I'd rather have a wallet full of Riels before leaving Thailand for my road trip , I don't really like using unfamiliar ATM if I can help it ????

I intend to use the EVisa option and also use the online option to register my motorbike for temporary import onto Cambodia .Hopefully less hassle and less chance of being ripped off ???? -
The land border I'll be crossing does not issue a re entry stamp But you are suggesting I drive 2+hrs to the nearest international airport to get one issued , that is a massive waste of my time when my local immigration office is only a 25 minute drive away . ????

Slightly off topic but can anyone tell me how busy is the Khlong Yai Border Checkpoint on a Sunday afternoon heading into Cambodia ? and how long can I expect the process of crossing into Cambodia with a motorbike ? ( and I know the process can vary a lots from minute to minute ) -

I was there earlier this year mainly rural parts of the south ..I had to go through 100's of army check points . only in a couple of areas did I feel unwelcome and was told at the check points NOT to stop in certain villages , and getting a beer after a hot day on the road was a bit hit and miss , but visited some wonderful sites ???? Hi All . How many days before your current retirement Visa expires can you re-apply for the new visa stamp .I think it's up too 30 days prior to the due date, but would appreciate clarification ???? I usually do it 2 week in advance but this year I need to do it as early as possible due to travel plans Cheers in advance

I need to buy some US$ = 10's 20's smaller type bills... where its the best place in the Pattaya area to buy "GOOD" quality bill ( not worn or torn and not interested in larger bills) as I'll be travelling around rural area's of Cambodia and bigger is harder to use and get any change back. UPDATE ! The Land & transport office have a LINE Group .. you can ask questions on there .. They respond fairly quickly during Office Hours , please don't ask me for the LINE address . I added them via a QR code at their Office . The messages I sent were in English and also translated into Thai using Google translator .. that worked for me

If it helps I was there to pick up a replacement Number plate which I lost on my travels "NOT" to renew my DL . different departments involved..... so you'll probably be OK .
