You mean when there's unlimited supply and almost zero demand, you don't raise the prices?? lol -
With all the testing done in the US, the CDC estimates only 1 in 4 infections were identified between Feb 2020 -Sept 2021. It's probably 1 in 10 or much higher with Omicron. Looking at the chart and Thailand's testing vs the UK & US, one can only imagine how many actual infections there are https://ourworldindata.org/grapher/full-list-covid-19-tests-per-day?country=USA~THA~GBR

Mass vaccinations, tests, among measures to handle Omicron wave

I figured they could leverage the current Omicron scare into reviving it had it been the latter -

If Omnicron spreads like they say, probably everyone on the planet will have had COVID of one variant or the other by this time next year. -

Their regular vax rate, which had been really moving well for about four months, has slowed significantly over the last three weeks. Maybe they're reaching the end of the willing recipients and now need a coerced approach...?

TAT confident Thai tourism unfazed by Omicron variant
nattaya09 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
While Travelers who are fully vaxed likely will be unfazed by the Omicron, or other variants, they will be fazed/deterred by how the local government's response to it affects their experience
