  1. My Thai wife and I have a company (she owns 51% and I own 49%). I am appointed as a director. I didn't know there are these premiums for tax deduction. Could you please provide some source?
  2. Here are the fees for sending money internationally on the BBL site: https://www.bangkokbank.com/en/Personal/Other-Services/Transfers/-/media/253a57cc639e46f0b9104cb1deda188c.ashx Thanks for the idea but I would like to avoid registering on different platforms in order to ask for their deposit account and then to check with the banks. Account registration and verification will be pain in the neck.
  3. Hi guys, EU citizen here employed in Thailand with work permit and family (with Thai wife and 3 years old daughter child). I invest monthly in index ETFs for retirement purpose and am currently with XTB platform. Initially I opened my account with IBKR but depositing the funds is a nightmare as every time I would like to deposit I must go to the bank in person, provide documents and it costs minimum 1100 THB per deposit transaction. That's why I am with XTB now. However, I still look for another trading platform as XTB in Thailand is registered in Belize, there is no minimum security of the funds invested like in the EU, US etc. I discovered that some potential trading platforms are Saxo Bank and Schwab international accounts. I know that for an international Saxo account $10K and for Schwab account $25K deposit is required which is not an issue. On their websites I tried to find out how depositing funds from Thai bank account works and everything looks smooth but all looked smooth with IBKR, too and when I wanted to fund the account, I realized I had to take the documents and pay 1100 THB to Kasikorn / Bangkok bank. What I fear from is that I will open the account with Saxo or with Schwab and when wanting to deposit, I will find out the same thing so I would like to ask if anyone knows how it goes when depositing Thai bath from Thai bank account to these trading platforms (or if there is a better trading platform company that I should have a look into)? For your information, funding XTB platform is easy and with QR code instantly and the currency exchange rate from THB to US$ is pretty fair.
  4. Oh noo. This news has ruined all of my plans for tuday.
  5. If you have the pink ID card and yellow tabian ban, they don't care about your visa at all in Nonthaburi office.
  6. Thank her for the good time and say that this was a one time thing for you and you have a girlfriend. Wish her all the best and good luck. This should work.
  7. Reporting back. Did my driver licenses renewals last Friday in Nonthaburi. Pink ID card and yellow tabian ban were sufficient for that. The online video trainings: For motorbike it was in Thai and for car it was in English 😅
  8. Send your children there and let the boys learn. It may be fun Sure. After 4 sexual assaults let's them learn more and master sexual assaults.
  9. Yep. That's where I click.
  10. Thanks mate. I will go tomorrow to ask them what the issue is. Probably they gave it to me in Thai. My friend when logs in, has it in English so they definitely gave me access to Thai account instead the one for foreigners.
  11. Nope. Definitely in Thai. No options to change the language and if I go directly to YouTube, the captions are closed.
  12. The videos are in Thai and with Thai subtitles. I went directly to YT to try to turn on captions in English but there is no such option
  13. Guys, these videos are in Thai. How did you take the test?
  14. Thanks. My Thai wife who is the house owner said since 2020 we don't need to report if we have the re-entry permit.
  15. Thanks. When I did my last 90 days report I got there early and was chatting with a Philipphino guy who was back from Philippines. He was there to notify them he was back. He also had a form with him. This is why I am asking. He didn't change the address but just was away for two weeks vacation.
  16. Would be there if MS Office functioned properly as I need it much. Libra is a piece of sh
  17. Hi folks, I have non-O marriage visa one year extension and one year re-entry permit, both issued in Nonthaburi immigration office. I was abroad for two weeks vacation and am back in Thailand now. The immigration officer at the airport stamped my passport with the entry stamp with today's date but there is no date that indicates when the next 90 days report is to be done. Is there anyone who has experience with Nonthaburi immigration office to tell me: 1. How can I figure out what is the next date for 90 days report? 2. Should I go to Nonthaburi immigration office to fill out some form that I was 2 weeks out of the country and am back now? Thanks.
  18. Go to another office. In the first I went to they said I wasn't eligible.
  19. I am also on non O marriage with multiple re-entry and belong to Nonthaburi immigration office. I left Thailand on 9th May and coming back on 25th May. Does anyone know if I need to visit Nonthaburi immigration office and fill out some form for submission?
  20. Thanks. I didn't know this was the case in Thailand. I lost my job last year so had to open a small company where my wife owns 51% and I 49%. I am appointed for director so I was said that directors in Thailand can't be under the social security system. Then I discovered I can be under the SSO and they wouldn't cut the full amount of 750THB but around 400 monthly which gives me the access to unlimited medical insurance, however, the retirement contribution stops. Do you maybe know if I will be entitled to a small Thai pension although I am paying these 400THB monthly? Or do you maybe have some source where I could read more on this topic?
  21. Nope. I made the screenshot. I believe they want to migrate from SSO connect to SSO Plus and Thai citizens already can use SSO Plus because this app recognizes Thai ID cards. However, foreigners must go with SSO Connect I attached in the screen.
  22. Guys, here is the final update so please neglect the post above. I have just installed the SSO Connect Mobile app and was able to log in which means we still can use this app. (Mods, please let's somehow emphasize that this is the valid piece of info if this huge font isn't allowed). Thanks to you I tried to log in with SSO Connect app and can log in now. However, I am not sure how can you count on pension of 5000 THB if you retire at 60 and 4000 THB if you retire at 55. I started contributing in 2018 and I can see on the app I have around 42000 THB so you may be at around 100K THB so far considering you started contributing in 2008. According to my understanding this monthly figure will increase in time and we can take it out when we are 55 or 60 but we are limited to this figure. For example, my father in law worked for 20 years (he is Thai) and at 55 he had around 120K THB so he was entitled to this money and could have chosen to take it all out at once or to receive it monthly. Could you please explain on what ground you expect to receive 5000 THB i.e. 4000THB a month? Can we contribute more than we do? The app's name goes exactly like this: SSO Connect Mobile and below the app name it is written Bossup Solution Co., Ltd. Let me know if you still can't find it and I will make a screenshot and send it to you.
  23. Hi folks, I am a Hungarian citizen without residence in Hungary and thus I am not registered in Hungarian health-care system. I have a residence in Thailand and Thai goverment health insurance. I will be traveling back to Hungary and spend there two weeks so I would like to ask if someone could recommend what the best option would be for me health insurance wise? You know, just in case if some sh.. happens. Thank you in advance. Cheers!
  24. Hi guys, Here is the latest update. I called 1506 and there was really a person speaking more than decent English. I said I could log in through their website but not by using their app and this is what she explained: The app used before was called SSO Connect and it is sunset (I can confirm this because I used it in the past) There is a new app to be used and it is called SSO Plus, however, it only recognizes Thai ID cards for now (photo of ID card needs to be taken for initial verification) SSO Plus app is still under development and it will support the option of foreigners using it with their pink card (I didn't ask when this function will be ready) So for now, we use their website. Cheers!
