To the OP, why would you think Christmas lunch or dinner would be available in Pattaya between 17-19 December?
Where would this be available anywhere in the World on these days?
Pre-madness loads of places in the UK or Ireland would have Xmas dinner offerings almost from the start of Dec for work's parties etc.
The better ones would need to be booked or no chance

For what it's worth the Dutch government put the whole world on the orange list yesterday, that means only absolutely necessary travel. So it's almost impossible to get insurance etc etc.
You won't get flight insurance but you usually buy health insurance from an insurer in the country that you are flying to

Seatguru was showing LHR-BKK route starting back up on the 12th Jan 2020 only yesterday.

I found this on the internet dated today 16th Dec 2020.....
"In addition, BA will not operate to Sydney or Bangkok until the beginning of the winter 2020/21 season on 30 October next year. It will also suspend flights from Gatwick to Costa Rica’s capital San Jose for the summer from 17 April 2021.
A BA spokesperson said: “We are sorry that, like other airlines, due to the current Coronavirus pandemic and global travel restrictions we are operating a reduced and dynamic schedule.
“We will be in touch with any customers whose flights are affected and advise customers to check ba.com for the latest flight information.”
So, that just leaves Eva at the moment.

Van Gogh said orange was the colour of madness & he was a bit of an expert in both fields I would say.
I dare anyone who's been around the sois of Pratamnak & seen the horror shows that are the many nordic condo/hotels to disagree with me, they are a proper eyesore & can only devalue the places as I'd want a big discount to stay there.
It's not a colour that most would be drawn to by choice.

Anything a bit more hotel buffet style with great views?
There are about 15 of us with mostly children so would over impose on those places & other customers

My children can't sleep either, they should not be to allowed to plonk something like this in what is predominately countryside.
It's not as if the people who own that place are shy of a dollar.
Their FB page says it ends at 23:55 but their practise night last night ended at 1am.
If the bib want to earn a few bob this evening then I suggest pulling over the vehicles leaving & doing a few tests on the drivers & passengers.
I'm sure their resident elephant & tiger population will be most grateful & fully understand that it's all in good fun for the gyration's of rich spoit brats.
This should be held inside in clubs purpose built not outside by people's homes.

I live outside of town a bit & there are a lot of small farms or houses with some crops & every single night except for when it rains heavy they have fires lite.
They seem to wait until the sun has settled then off they go.
The police do nothing, city hall do nothing.
I know a teacher at the local Thai school & one of their neighbours is often burning even during the day, she told me they asked him to stop & reported him so he stopped for a while & then started back up.

I'm out near Nong Nooch & we're into the 3 day/night of electo dance music so loud that during the bassier parts of songs my windows rattle.
I'm about 1km away as the crow flies.
Sound checks started at 11am & last nights noise finished around 1am.
It seems lounder each night.
I have seen no ads or posters for it, no one & I mean no one can listen this for any period of time & not be taking some kind of pharmaceuticals.

I've got a similar card from SCB, 200 Baht a year. I've tried using it as a debit card to pay for stuff online, but it's never worked. No idea why, as my account usually has a couple of hundred thousand Baht in it.
Something's wrong there.
DM me you account number, sort code, full name & DOB then I'll try to get that fixed up for you fella ????

He was obviously very good in his previous life so maybe has no qualms about the more unfortunate fellow country folk who were not as good as him in their previous lives.
Keep feeding those rabid soi dogs peeps.

Then the qpr players knelt down before the whistle to start the game even though they had stopped doing so in previous games & were backed up for not kneeling down by Sir Les Ferdinand with quite a few giving the racist black power salute, Mahlon Romeo who was the most vocal Millwall player lead the team out ahead of their captain & also gave that racist salute.
When qpr scored 2 of their players went to the sidelines then knelt down & gave that same racist salute to the stands.
The Millwall crowd in attendance did not react to these racists stances & the commentators did not comment on them either.
Are only white people held accountable for seemingly racist actions & words?
Btw I watched the whole game.

How dare they?
Why are they allowed to disagree with an extreme political fascist, racist agenda & then express that disagreement by making a simple sound?
They should be banned then named & shamed so we know who these evil people are that think they have freedom of thought & expression.
What is this world coming to?
Do they not know that grown men who for the most part where not that well educated but can run very fast can cure the world's ills by kneeling down for a few seconds once or twice a week?

City Hall, there is an English speaker hotline I believe on 1337

Local old bill usually like these kinds of matters as well because of illicit finds which make them look good with lots of finger pointing unless it's case of "do you know who I am"

It was his chef that was the problem, not the supplier.
If you can't get the supply right then it doesn't matter who's in the kitchen, you can't make a silk purse out of a cow's <deleted>.

The people have spoken. Beefeater usually full, Patricks usually half empty. Ate in Patricks a few months ago. Shocking meal. Called Patrick over and asked him to try it. He agreed with me and knocked it off the bill. Won't be eating there again.
I would have thought that a response like that from the boss would a good reason to go back.
I know he changed supplier not soon after the lockdown was released.

2nd hand shop on the Suk going south had about 6 bikes for sale a few days ago when I was having a sniff about.
It's almost exactly across the road from Makro.
Your head gets turned by some the deals in there until you remember that you don't need said items or have anywhere to store them until the time comes when you might need them

I read on here that someone was stopped from buying a certain brand of fish sauce at Makro after 2pm because it has trace amounts of alcohol in it.
I always liked the way some Russians would take their bottle of beer from the 7 fridge then plonk then exact amount owed on the counter & walk out the door.
It's maybe why they closed off the fridges in some stores.
