I'm not disputing or implying efficacy of the AZ as to the interval of each injection my comment to the individual post when it comes to Thailand the greater span to the second shot was reported by the Thai government as to why they were stretching the time for the second dose was due to the shortage once again as noted they suggested originally 16 weeks then shorten it. As for WHO website and their opinion just my take you got to be kidding right? ????

I wrote on another thread my experience yesterday to obtaining the Pfizer at MedPark. To be honest I've done my share of bashing the U.S. government being a free speaking American my major sticking point is their old diplomatic style no accountability but this time they did come through in their own way to the Thai leaders make it happen for the expat. I was there yesterday bright and early when I got my shot I wanted to wrapped the American flag around me as if I just won the Gold in Japan although I would have been happy with the AZ thanks U.S. Embassy! I was expecting the worse when it comes to service in general in Thailand, but like the poster I was treated like a VIP, although I waited a while to get up front once I did a lady ask me how old once she found out took me to the front and a minute of so later I was in seated BP taken, the girl English was good told me papa it is a bit high I looked and said it is normally even at my age 120 even lower at times told her it might be because of you she smile said relax papa I responded not for me but I have a son who I want you to meet LOL! I was in and out within a hour and back on the road.????

It was never promised from what I read when it comes to the Pfizer majority of it whatever is left after the government leaders VIP get their shot it was to go to all the front line workers that would start with those in Bangkok I think there was a article yesterday that front line workers in other provinces would be getting it in the next few days whether there will be any left for expats is unknown. It has also been reported that U.S. donated another 2 million doses Pfizer to arrived in a few months? Then you got another story the Thai government has procured another 30 million doses Pfizer beginning of the year hope that story isn't more smoke? Meantime I wonder what is going on with the Moderna?

In has been noted for some time that there is a shortage of AZ if that is your choice, first it was 16 weeks then it was shorten to 12, the stretching was so more people could get their once dose.

Based on the picture it would be tough to keep it that size the proper way normally is to scrape off the loose area which would enlarge the area not bad mouthing you but anyone asking this type of question in my book looks like a simple job but if TLC isn't used scrapping would increase the area 10 fold? The problem with putty filler the coloring is most likely a bit whiter from my experience normally I use powder and mix it with water but although still cheap you might need to buy a big bag of it when dry it comes really close to the coloring Thais like to use a particular brand is is cheap that being said the paint use for ceilings come in a number of shades and the paint comes in large containers buckets like 20 liter 650 baht I've not seen this brand sold at places like Home Pro for 650 baht. I do my own painting and touch up for my house and apartment it is easy if you have the right stuff and done properly one can barely noticed certainly but how many do you have from the taping if a lot it would be tough unless you paint the entire ceiling again otherwise it will look like tick tack toe? If that was true why was Thailand given 1.3-5 doses of Pfizer free from the U.S. why were they given 20 million in cash, why were they given 40 million in medical equipment including all the testing supplies being used now by by the U.S. Free! All prior to requesting to join Covax recently. U.S. has already committed another 2 plus million doses of Pfizer by the end of the year. This is also 200,000 plus donated of AZ by Japan and more from England. My assumption is the reason why they didn't join Covax was because they put all their eggs into two basket that the Sino would tie them over until their homemade AZ would be the choice vaccine they over estimated their ability to produce the AZ like so many things in Thailand. When that didn't happen and the Sino failing and AZ production behind they started to try to purchased Pfizer particularly Moderna after months of saying they are in the process of signing an article came out that the Government agency Pharmacy didn't have the funds to sign the contract which was required by Moderna. As you noted Thailand is a rich country if so why couldn't the government agency come up with the money instead ask the private hospital to come up with the money before the contract could be signed. They are so far behind the line now with Pfizer and Moderna if it wasn't for the donations there might be more dying? I think it isn't that Thailand is rich their leaders are!

Just my opinion that currently this month or next there just isn't enough the reason many of the private hospital are asking for accountability of the 1.3-5 Million doses given by the U.S. as you read the numbers don't add up even for the Thais they are first going to all the front line Thai workers throughout the country. Since I have your attention: I caught the Van service from Pattaya ( Sukhumvit/Pattaya Klang) this morning at 4:45 am, 140 baht although the Van a bit old the lady driver wife who goes along took my temperature and spray me down with alcohol prior to pointing where to sit. Although the Van can carry 10 plus the journey we never had more than six all sat apart social distant I got to Bang Na around 7:25 am, from there caught a motorbike taxi to Medpark for 100 baht. When I arrived, told to go down to the other side of the building by now it was 7:55 AM, there was around 50 people in front of me majority seem to be Thai or Asians. Once the door opened there were 3 ladies checking everyone in once I got close enough still 20 or so in front of me another lady ask how old was I responded 69 and there for the PFIZER I was moved to the front since I was over 60 not a handsome man any longer but nice to get some VIP treatment for being old! Minutes later I was given a number escorted in to take a seat to have my BP taken, minutes later I was at a desk to enter my information and confirm I was getting the PFIZER filled out a health questionaire signed over your life and walked over to the booth for PFIZER only, there were booths for the SinoPham and AZ. once in the booth she confirms your identity and pinch done given paperwork back walked around corner to hand in paperwork and told to go into rest area for 30 minutes. Once name was called back to area to getting your BP taken a final time everything record handed documents with next appointment for 2nd shot 3 weeks. I was out the door in a taxi back to Ekaimai for return trip back to Pattaya at 9:05 am, 140 baht paid walked over to the Van it was the same couple who brought me to Bang Na LOL, back at the house in Pattaya by 12:30 PM just in time for lunch so far so good just a sore arm.

That is your choice I've also seen the photos but that was mostly the first day it started not everyone there was getting the Pfizer thereafter the lines were divided into other groups for the Sino and AZ, best way to say the were a bit disorganized and from other reports here and through a number of close friends also living in Pattaya gone in 11th,12th, 13th, said it isn't as bad as it looks once inside goes pretty quick and fast. It is about money the leaders aren't willing to put up front the money to guarantee the order they couldn't even come up with the money to sign the deal with Moderna thus the reason they ask the private hospital to take deposit upfront which now is rumor they are going to refund since they can't even get that in time and now under the pressure to vaccine everyone for free since vaccine are now rolling in from countries like U.S. then you got their top University in their final stages of testing their copy of the PFizer and Moderna which should be coming out in January? They put all their eggs in one basket AZ what to be the medical hubs of SEA producing in house keeps them in power for years to come doing so is to line their pockets at the expense of their own people. My guess is good as yours? but each time I read an article in the Bangkok Post in regards to the baht the powers to be someone gets a hair up their butts thinks it is going too high or low the next day it changes directions? You can just go to Big C extra on Pattaya Klang personally I think they have the best selection of bread and pastries while there you might be able to find a potatoes?

I didn't get anything like that, I was given a final email which I printed out it has a code that I will need to confirm. The remaining information on the email was as if I was registering for the vaccine, my name, nationality, passport #, BD, and Pfizer. Prior to the final information I got a number FB messenger reply to my inquiry.

You should be O.K. when I signed up for MedPark using the Thailandvac link I didn't chose any other location since I didn't see they were offering Pfizer. As I noted Expat and Thailandvac or linked since when they responded to both my email addresses my email has been register I noticed the sender address it is from the same sources. I was given the message on my Yahoo account a confirmation of getting the Pfizer, date and time and that they noticed I had register another email address this one through Expatvac noting they will not send another confirmation to that account so I think you will be O.K.
