555, you must be feeling better nevertheless I checked again take aride into Bangkok as suggested by Sheryl. There are poster and moderators she is tops when it comes to medical. I don't do PM, when someone calls you out publically I address it public.

Correct some of the stuff you hear is nonsense as if they had a few beers and believe everything they hear. Many if you aren't register resident can't use the system in Pattaya for example if you are from another village. This was one of the biggest criticism during Covid, in Bangkok sending infected patients back to their village on buses and trains.

As I noted is the US perfect NO without it's problem but trying to compare the numbers to put a black on the US compare Thailand system is silly if not ignorant. Thai great Democracy being discussed now try finding data on how many have die just trying to get their free medical there is a big difference between their system, training, if a Thai had cancer and had the ability to fly to the US, get free treatment or treatment here. We all know what the choice would be. Sorry for me poor comparison. My comment originally is someone trying to use data regarding death? I commented the country is much larger more access to treatment and a process and openness to data that doesn't exist here. You comment is outside of the realm of what is being discussed.

Yes more access you born yesterday. Free yes and that is your answer maybe you missed last month report sbout their hospital I can see why it is free wait a few hours to see a free overwork doctor to have them tell you wait another hour for your bag of pill. There is 72 million there are 50th states in the US. I think Calif has closed to that population. You bring price into the equation it is relative but California have more hospital than six with Thailand current election joke democracy try getting access to the number that have die or miss diagnosed or even get a baht of tort if the do. Is US perfect without their own problem NO but don't try to compare.

This is true but there are much more people in the US, more access to medical treatment and people have greater numbers of Doctor to gain different opinion. I go home have access to a half dozen medical buildings fill with doctors of all different types of specialties. You don't have that here especially in Pattaya. Just from my experience I have a number of family, friends, as noted from the post you quoted recommended test, surgery, when it was necessary these procedure are so common tough to make a mistake why the recommend them to meet their daily quota. Got a fever bit high you should be admitted for better care of course ICU. Thai in general don't have that luxury to get a second opinion majority wait hours to get a bag of pills or have you not been reading articles here.

Some will disgree with you they will cite articles economically to try to prove their point. You say " artificial method " I call it maplipulation now I'll be the first to say it can be moved from 1-10, but a tick here and there either way to their political liking I firmly believe it happen and does. We see it happen continuously with China. For sure it isn't science can't prove it even if I could but the corrupt government I've joke numerous of time whenever it goes up or down to a point then something or someone comes out don't like it surprise starts to make a reverse. Just the other day Bloomberg the dollar was reporting stronger across the board but when ticker Thai baht it had dropped. Some experts have suggested it shoul( have been dollar 40 plus then some day 30, who really knows? What I sense politically if you don't have your head in the sand the corruption past history once those Pita shares came up the outcome was going to be obvious not because I'm that politically smart but I believe in a equation and past presendent if I send a addicted individual time and time again to rehab the chances of putting a bet they will again is a pretty good bet. That being said what is happening now was a expectefboutcome Thai leaders knowing it will hurt their economy baht especially gave it a bit of push to strengthen to off set the big drop. ????????

Her actions comes from the mother! No lost looking at her age she will spread her legs if not already get pregnant. The mother will make a big stink demand money from boy family then tell the daughter the family just bought you. After the baby is born boy gone too hard she be in Bangkok or Pattaya dancing giving faces or finger behind customer back. You can download her future!???? -
Good, I wonder how does a political coup in a country in regard to the people wishes makes the baht stronger? They call themselves a Democracy go through a two month process election campaigning, litter countryside with posters, noise pollution with all the roadside advertising causing traffic bottlenecks, then declare a weekend no booze weekend with candiates paying and providing to sway votes, when in the end their constitution states it isn't the people but the MP or Senate that decides who is PM. My Thai family all voted for this guy I though Yea right good luck you will need it but watch the soap opera after the election silently if I told them out loud I would be in the dog house. The whole process is a joke then you got how many didn't even bother to show up and those who did majority abstained. The biggest losers are the poor Thais people who don't have a clue it will take much more than a protest to make the real change.????

Pita ready to step aside if his party fails to win senators’ hearts
thailand49 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
U. S. Has already been accused of supporting Pita, I for one US isn't in support of interfering we have enough on our hands plus everytime we do the majority of backlash comes from the EU region. What about all the money put into the UN. and how about the CCP who leaders here love so much. -

I beg to differ! He comes from entitlement the fact that he was sent abroad to study Harvard doesnt mean he is a American puppet fat from it. His loyalty first and foremost is to his country reason why he was already part of the swamp as a MP, there are hundred of Chinese Communist elites their kids sent to study in U.S. colleges then return to their country to be part of the system. Their former economics leader even the PM prior to Yickluck I believe was educated in the U. S but was as bad as the rest. He knew exactly was he was doing thus the coalition. Here he got his white boyscout Uni for a reason there aren't such a thing Rags to riches in This country nothing he will able to bring whatever western learning influence if he did become PM, otherwise many on this board would be ten times better than any Thai will ever be sadly. Not in my lifetime but a leader who can force all the changes will come from the lowest class mountain north produce sell their soles for the necessary military arms and army to do it by force. And if successful first thing in order is how to manage all those IOU's, Who got him there. ???? -

And who do you think those global leaders are? -
Just stirring the pot, just a month ago someone was pointing out citing an article as if it was the Bible or something? Since the reader agree therefore it must be true. The guy Pita, a Harvard grad? Been and is a current MP, part of the system or laying low learning the system? needless to say I felt these shared advisor all around him should have done something prior so he isn't in this position. What surprises me these were share owned by his father if useless. worthless, company not operating all these years why did he keep it! Regardless of the people voting for him something smells with these shares he is where he is because of one person himself and this is the guy we go will lead the Thais to the future?
-
Regardless of these old dogs, they had enough power to make sure in their so call constitution their system it would prevent anyone from taking over without their consent if it doesn't benefit them. The last coup the guy was hand picked half a decade they delayed elections rewrote what they needed to make sure that benefit continues. I'm no expert on their system but what I've seen for a long time this isn't Democracy citizen can vote made to feel they have a say but reality they don't. The guy wins the popular vote but can't take office because the swamp MP, Senate, got to give their thumbs up! Not the people vote. I don't think in the end he is the answer he has already sold his sole making coalitions those who abstain first vote want nothing more than a insurance of continue brown envelope and favors. Change in my opinion is harsh to many but it will come only by force that force is an individual will rise create their own force and take it. Taking it will be ugly, bloody, just like what happen in China with Mao. Personallying, not in my lifetime, the Thai people will make a lot of noise but I don't see the angue or fortitude from them or any leader including Pita to force the change that is so badly needed so Thais can finally realize the number being played on them. ????
