You may be right. Having said that, the online method has a fair bit of photoshopping and misrepresentation going on, by both girls and clients. Therefore, I think there will still be a demand for the bar scene, where a realistic assessment can be made, although perhaps not to the same degree.

I hope you are right because I'm a Brick and Mortar guy I like to touch the material first.????

I'm a foreigner and I have no idea how to stop someone riding a motorcycle into the back of a white bus with lights on a road illuminated with street lights.

????Oh wait? Outlaw busses with Romulan cloaking device

Based on the story presented to us!  You read or know something Other than what is being said let me know otherwise let me give you a bit of a clue!

I'm not a licensed transportation investigator but being in the transportation industry for 40 plus year attended numerous conventions, seminars did a number with the California HWY Patrol there are some real simple signs to determine an accident and whether the bus driver is lying right at the scene if they know what they are looking for?

In this case bus driver said he was stopped sadly your point of the bus being illegal had zero bearing from the story.  They can simply look at the depths of the impact of the back of the bus take measurements, check the path of bike prior to impact any tire marks on pavement how the bike was rested and where was the damage would indicate some clue if and when the driver ever saw the bus and determine to act?  The autopsy of the body both, head injuries bruises their locations all Will speak for the victim or bus driver. Then you got on all major roads CCTV go far enough back as necessary would give hints then today everyone has a phone fine them scroll through the history and they might just fine the answer OH wait that is too easy. Today we see and hear more stories like this vehicles running into another as if they weren't even there for me each day in Pattaya I see over a dozen on the phone although there is a law?  2000 baht fine what is missing ENFORCEMENT that is the big clue you and the Thai police is missing!

We all know that, but hey that ain't gonna happen ain't it.

Correct but I was answering a question pose to me! Reason I said it isn't going to happen unless they hand the problem to a outsider under the current emergency power with full control and protection from the influence and corruption to make All the necessary changes until that happens as you noted not happening!

    That facility is closed now.

I went by a hour ago, yes it is now closed but they aren't packed up and closed the one Thai I spoke to from what I could make out it is just temp or based on their schedule that it is closed.  I was given this location and got mines March 20th, booster told it was comp and run by the Banglamung Hospital you might what to try their FaceBook page and see if there is an schedule best to have a Thai do the checking or calling. Good luck as noted they might be doing it at the Naval hospital in Sattahip?

  5. And there you go another suggestion by another so call expert or person in charge the main reason it will be a failure just words no bite to it.

The system of enforcement is different in Thailand it is not to prevent but to react after you don't need a car to enforce give me a dozen personnel on bikes, a dozen tracker trailers, large empty lot with tents, chairs, a few desk and within a week with the fines I could purchase vehicle for all those officers. ????

It was touted strongly as a single does vaccine I recall..... then I saw news that it too would require boosters

Yes I read the same originally one dose even can keep it in a regular frig,  many of my former workers op for it not surprise it would need a booster but today J&J isn't even in the conversation.

Until the donation of PFizer Many like myself didn't have a clue if we would ever get vaccinated unless one op for the Sino or AZ then it was too not available to everyone. Those who I know that got the J&J op for PFizer booster.

Rather than worry about a small fine, what you should be concerned about is the fact that without a Licence, your Insurance is invalid.

Imagine the cost of repairing someone's Mercedes, or worse, a large hospital bill for someone you injure.

A Thai Licence costs a few hundred baht and can be done in one day.

curious what make you assume he had coverage 3rd party? ????

Nevertheless no use wasting time here go down and get the real answer as noted the fine is what a few hundred baht why pull your into twightlight zone thinking about it you guilty don't do the crime if you can't pay the fine or time. ????

An interesting fact might be, that France vaccinated all those who wanted here in Thailand with free-of-charge "Johnson" vaccinations, which - as they claimed back last year - would not require a booster and hence one vaccination would suffice.

    Just saying ..........

Correction!  That donation was only 100,00 doses and not to anyone who wanted it it was for French only just like the Chinese did for their own here.  Just saying too?

I have been trying to register for a Pfizer booster in Pattaya for the last month with no success. Yesterday, while in Queen Sirikit Sattahip for a routine check up, I asked about booster registration. They sent me up to the 3rd floor where 10 minutes later the needle was in my arm, free of charge, all smiles etc.

It seems to me that the Pattaya hospitals "just maybe" trying to push their Moderna stocks into "rich" expat arms.

I ask s similar question booster in Pattaya wrote this a number of times payback for the response I got!

If you drive north on Sukhumvit towards Bangkok once pass the Banglamung police station same side there is a large temple you will see banner in Thailand you are getting close at the entrance will see a big sign " vaccine " turn left in stay left go towards the back right place head towards tent and building bring your passport documents of your shots tell the guards you are here for the Pfizer booster. I got my 2nd shot Pfizer on September 4th,  you must be six month from last shot guards very helpful ask how old once they confirm I was 65 I got the VIP took to a desk given some forms to fill out told to take inside chairs line up like a Q 10 minutes I was at the front information enter into computer I ask Pfizer a number of times, yes,  booster, yes, given shot told to go back outside rest area, ask about anty confirmation paperwork pointed to a girl behind the computer gave her my passport and paperwork from Medpark minutes later got a new complete form with all shots noted with a QR code. All free!  Good luck

It was simply required to turn up and The Royal Garden or Monk's College and you would have got a jab quite quickly and efficiently. Pfizer was what I got, but they said Moderna was available. Did you even bother or sat at your computer trying to register.

Royal Garden in the beginning no Pfizer unless you were a expat over 65, then the age slowly got lower then PFizer as a booster only if you were given originally the Sino or AZ.  As for Moderna I've not heard it being given free at Royal Garden or any public government hospital or clinic my Thai family members finally got theirs Feb-March,  I myself got information in March that the large temple pass the Banglamung police station one could get a Pfizer booster which I did March 21st,  I inquirer about those with Moderna can get a Pfizer booster answer No. Until recently on the darkside Pattaya my daughter in-law brother 11 in and out of school last two years his first PFizer shot a few days ago I've not heard kids under 5 being offered not sure if test show it is safe for them my granddaughter 3 goes to pre-school required a Antigen test once a week.

I hope with all the donations of PFizer it start to become more accessible in reality?

What sort of numpty parents let their 16 year old kid out at 11pm on a motorbike ?

Sadly a great majority.  Many at 15.are done with school with no money to continue they think the tune " is that all there is "  then you got government with the endorsement of many parents to allow them to start learning at an early age reason since parents are working kids can get to school for their education get a pass to by pass all the requirements and laws taught and handed down all the bad habits this is in my opinion the factory of death schools!

The intent might have been sound to them in the beginning but it opens a number of new doors to having that freedom parents in general seem to use it like the phone keep them quiet and out of sight shedding their parental responsibility the intent goes far beyond using the bike to go to school.

I've been through it see the results for two decades many things we take for granted in the West like curfew, their youth pregnancy, drugs, drinking, smoking all comes all are contributed from this one allowance. Even before Covid in Pattaya the Dark side up on the hills especially during School out during Songkran worse now rat packs of kids on their bikes.  It is truly sad here they want kids early then want them to grow up fast but so many like this girl never do R. I have no idea how you came to the conclusion tha we do not talk enough.

I was lookimg for any insights BEFORE we sit down and talk.

But thank you amyway, any input is better than no input

    ????

I got or drew the conclusion from your opinion or lack of it?  " I was looking for any insights BEFORE we sit down and talk "  that is pretty clear to me that there isn't enough talking but of course that is just my opinion or input?

As you can see your request has been filled with lots of input including mines which I sense you don't seem to except fully my comments.

Here is how I think in my first marriage back home and with my Thai one over 15 years,  I do not consider myself to be a control freak or better choice of words controlling. My goal when my number is up to have some peace of mind not worrying each day so I find myself constantly coming up with better ways when the time she and the rest of the family can move on in peace.  I've handle a number of Will and Trust for my family and currently entrusted with 4 never thought too much about accepting the job but when you actually have to pull out the paperwork and execute you find out you aren't going to make everyone happy. From my experience with other expats living here even with a Will and Trust in Thai and one back home there are still walls to climb since no one seems to be on the same page everyone and office seem to be on a power trip or something. Recently an expat I know well his wife passed away thought he had all the ducks line up when time to execute even the lawyer who drew the thing up even had to get on his knees to get the land office to execute the document?

Regardless, I wish you well and good luck whether my opinion is valid or not.
