Yip, that's the one....bus station will be a nightmare in rainy season...good to know. Passed through it getting bus to new train station north-side last year.

Presidential candiates should pass a forensic banking test to assess their compromisability....along with an IQ and ethics test. There would I guess be no-one to fill the slot of president then in US or probably most leader positions in world.

A computer server farm is heating a local swimmming pool in UK in a first. Obvious once its done, but not until. So many closed due to heating costs in recent times. These synergy solutions should emerge more..eco space use...hot/cold...cold/hot etc.

I did name the region where I'd do that..... Pedestrian traffic violations in LoS ?.....not pursued, like the other 80% that slips through (excluding junction camera violations by vehicles now)

If I have to walk on a road in South-east Asia, I always go to the side with on-coming traffic....at least you have a few seconds to dive from the 'sleeper at the wheel' having some down-time from 3 days straight on Ya....in theory....coming from behind, nope....you'll feel it before you see it....city or country road, same rule.

Find some hut on a mountain or stack up on food and drink. I hate Songkran, it's got out of control - from light sprinkles of water out of pewter bowls in the past to full buckets of water in your face while riding a motorbike on expressways....Festival of Death....bah humbug.

It used to be $10 regardless of a U-turn back into Thailand on the spot or short trip into the border town...is this a new thing that they confirmed to you in the Burmese immigration office ? -
Late 40s/50s maybe and teens... Though royals climbing on top of teens throughout history is about as old as royalty itself....teen brides to seal land control/treaties... on-and-on.

Exactly WHICH palace sources would they be...? Aaaah ! They need to remain anonymous for fear of losing their job/insider status....uhu. And with that they can make up anything....always read this "sources close to the royals" bull and flipped the page of the newspaper back in the day.

Agreed on some of the negatives. I can spy the old age health cover issues under 50 just now. Am in UK right now, and enjoying being able to breathe vs pea soup air of Chiang Mai. No link to a long-term g/f and I'd be rolling up my relatively nice 10 years or so in Thailand on to fresh fields.
