  1. I've done this at Chonburi. Went there early morning with proof of residence, my passport, the car and its blue book. That was all they needed. Very quick and efficient. They checked the car, gave me some docs and a queue number. Was out by lunch time.
  2. Depends on your back, try them out first. Chantir had an exhibit at Siam Paragon where they had a full setup where you can try the chairs, sit at a desk, pretend you're working to test them out. I ended up getting the Embody.
  3. Before you go ahead and spend thousands of baht on a new key or buy a pirated key, first: Start>Run cmd wmic path SoftwareLicensingService get OA3xOriginalProductKey Does it show you a product key? If it does, take note of it then type slmgr /upk wait for the msgbox slmgr /ipk <type your key here without the brackets> slmgr /ato Basically what his does is check if your system is already licensed (most branded PCs are), then activate it using that key.
  4. People may remember him as a man who lost a swimming competition. I choose remember him as a man who won a drowning competition.
  5. I do this at my local mom and pop. I always smile and ask her 'sabai dee mai'. Their university-aged daughter who handles the sales just says 'kha' and then giggles and looks down shyly. Thai people are not accustomed to being asked how they are.
  6. They're certainly capable of love but they don't love you - simple as that. Have you actually shagged any of these girls? Until you <deleted> them they tend not to get serious/committed. Once you <deleted> them they fall in love with you and become obsessed with you.
  7. Probably a foreign mission car (or former one).
  8. I think you misinterpreted this. They will still service imports as long as they're older than 2012.
  9. I read the Penal Code, B.E. 2499. Despite what you like to think, your opinion doesn't override statutory law.
  10. Why stop at 20 years? Torture leading to death is punishable with the death penalty.
  11. You obviously haven't been to Australia in a while. They'll be defending him, telling him his feelings matter and the 7-eleven clerk should have sacrificed her safety to make a safe space for Andrew.
  12. It's disgusting how these people abuse their power, but I have my full confidence that the Thai government will bring all those involved to justice by transferring them to inactive posts.
  13. NZ is an island, it has a reasonable chance of eliminating the virus. Thailand has porous land borders, it does not have such a chance.
  14. What strange times are these where people can afford luxury pool villas but not Thai cops.
  15. They were just getting their info from AP and AP was getting info from pro-Thaksin sources. ABC in Australia also got it from AP. I remember during the Ramkaengham Uni protests, ABC reported that the anti-government rioters attacked the red shirt buses with one person shot dead. They made it sound like the anti-government protesters shot someone when it was them who were fired upon and one of them who was shot dead.
  16. You must have a Thai will for your Thai estate. A local lawyer can set this up for you. Then the beneficiary needs to attend court in Thailand with the will. If it's not disputed, then the beneficiary can recover the funds. An easier technique would simply be to give the beneficiary access to your bank account, then they can withdraw the funds once you die.
  17. Depends on your home province.
  18. You're the one with the incorrect definition of 'prevent' - you're using it to mean 'always prevent'. Vaccines do not 'always prevent' infection, but they do prevent infection.
  19. Australia doesn't have enough mRNA vaccines. They're sending AZ because they have an oversupply. The originally planned to use AZ and Pfizer but Australians aren't taking up AZ so they're replacing it with Pfizer. Rather than letting the AZ go to waste, they're giving it away/selling it.
  20. Something that's open during COVID. There are a lot of activities that don't significantly risk spreading the virus: horse riding, archery, golf (as long as you ride the caddy yourself), rowing (probably not a good idea for BKK) - just wanting to know which ones (and any others) that are open at the moment.
