Ok...you guys got me.
Might reroute to Kamala, looking for a hotel, reasonable price(probably just passing out there anyway) with secure parking for the bikes close to bars and restaurants.
All recommendations appreciated.
Cheers
That'll probably elevate your choice of restaurants by 1 or 2.
Better off heading to Rawai or Nai Harn, still a semblance of night life.

The bicycle shop near the southern entrance inside home-pro Chalong had some, not sure on the bike sizes, details etc...

Coiled into a strike position, repeated striking, spraying venom while striking...

i wonder how to to die when bitten by this ? and if antivenom can work ?
1. The venom affects the respiratory centers in the brain, causing respiratory arrest and cardiac failure.
2. Yes, two types.

Thailand seems to be a violent society and it appears that this violence is being taught by teachers in schools during the children's formative years. Children learn by example and the example given by Thai teachers is that violence is the method for solving problems and 'might is right'. The children carry this with them and apply it in their adult lives (after all, if the respected teacher does it then it is the proper way to behave) hence the violent and often tragic results of arguments reported so frequently by the Thai press.
"Thailand seems to be a violent society".
As apposed to where?

What about all the thai citizens (especially women) working illegally all over the globe.
Anyhow looking at how a thai's english is limited to " go with you " i hope some day they allow people to tecah english without paperwork.
These teachers are helping that poor thai kids and must be supported.

What if those countries start naming and shaming them ? post their pictures that they raided a spa and found thai women working illegally. Tit for tat.
I once heard that thai women were caught working in spa in my country but there wasn't much of chatter and they were given free pass to leave the country. No naming and shaming done.
Thais need to learn a lot from other countries including the brown ones they hate so much
Where have they been named?

Good Loy Krathong this year.
Was at nai harm lake, quite busy, met many friends and we all had a good time. Temperature check at entrance, received a sticker for that. All Thai wearing masks, most foreigners as well but of course some think they don't have to follow the rules.
I was surprised at how many foreigners were there last night.
