I'm far from a hater, in fact one of my favourite songs is Legalize It by Peter Tosh.
Spent months on a Koh Panga beach in 1992 smoking weed and was the main reason I stayed.
That said, I know many who have relapsed from recovery from alcohol addiction by thinking cannabis was harmless. One friend died.
I feel its important to remind people that just because it suddenly, miraculously became legal in Thailand, it can be dangerous for some.
I agree that most smokers will have no serious consequences, apart from eating too many donuts, or antisocial behaviour. Paranoia can also be harmful.
I doubt there are Marijuana Anonymous meetings in Thailand, just as the are no Sex Addicts Anonymous. That doesn't mean they're are no addicts!
I don't smoke ganja as I find it better getting to the root of my problems, rather than use a substance as a crutch, like I did for 20 years since age 14.
I'm not telling anyone anything apart from there is help if wanted. If not wanted, just ignore.
