I am telling the truth. I am in recovery and those things are vital.
I am trying to be nice to a new forum member but you are not accepting it.
Please share some personal details so we can get to know you better.
Only Face, Thai people say 'Face'.
No, I was hoping to connect to a new member, you can PM me and maybe we share common interests, maybe even meet for a drink. Do you drink?
I'm in Hua Hin, where are you?
If I were you, I'd look into what my motive was for posting here.

When I joined, I was working away from home in a quiet rural town. It was great to be able to connect to other expats.
it helped me learn Thai.

Chill out dude.
Just noticed I joined this forum in July 2004.
It was a big part of my life living in Thailand in the early days.
To quote one of my heroes,
"I've seen 'em come and go and I've seen 'em die. And long ago I stopped askin' why."
As a Thai, I'd have to invest 17 million Baht for a long term retiree visa.
For a Yank retiring here they need to just show 800,000 baht.
Its MUCH easier for Yanks to come here.
Although I don't like Trump, I admire and respect his unselfish duty to America.
