  1. There is a walk in c=vaccination at Wat Nong Waen, Khon Kaen. I went today at 8am and out by 10. Sinovac, second one Astra. I think they are there next week too.
  2. They really don't care. This guy is not stupid, he will never go to jail, he knows too much and is very well connected.
  3. It's weaker. I got it 1 hour ago. Also, I'm not a foreigner.
  4. Thonburi Health Group. They confirmed to me too that I will get in in Oct.
  5. I'm looking for a good secondary school in that area. Any recommendations/prices? Ideally an international standard school but a bilingual/EP would do.
  6. What do you mean? There are not many international students here. I pay 50k a term for one of my daughters. On top of that 50k for a condo, and maybe 30k for pocket money/food. 130k a term. This is Assumption Uni
  7. Wait until your kids grow up and you are buying Nike for uni, and paying 8500 a month for condos that they are not living in.
  8. Well I went today but they had run out of vaccine, told me to go tomorrow, early.
  9. I am quite optimistic about getting Moderna in Oct.
  10. One more thing, can I travel to the UK if I've had this/these jabs?
  11. I can get Sinovac today, followed by AstraZ. If I take it, is it still safe to get the Moderna, which I've paid half, in October?
  12. Recently, I turned down a job offer from an Assistant Commissioner in the RTP. No senior policeman gets there by being an honest, upstanding citizen. As a friend said about the guy, he's actually a nice cop - he gets other people do do the 'whacking'. I use this word, as the similarities to the mob are uncanny. Another reason was that the job offered no money; the payment was to be in 'protection'. I think most foreigners don't know the half of what goes on in the force, and actually I have often heard them boasting about some member of the extended family being a copper.
  13. Not sure I agree here, just because a zebra crossing means stop in the UK, doesn't mean it has to mean the same here. I'd rather traffic lights stayed the same here, which are different from the UK - you can turn left at a red. Laws should be as the people want, and here we want zebra crossing to be as they are, stop or not stop, we like freedom!
  14. Thanks a lot, lots of food for thought there. I thought it might be a simple case of waiting 7 years, but not.
  15. I just subscribed to Disney Plus, what a waste of money.
