  1. I can't remember that. Are you saying that DeFi is a pyramid scheme? Of course Bitcoin is not, but I am not talking about that.
  2. With the future of banks uncertain, due to DeFI, it makes sense to keep your savings in digital assets.
  3. There really is no need for worry, how many Thai banks do you know that have gone out of business?
  4. Some of us need to keep more than 1 million in the bank, when selling a house, for example.
  5. OK, so the OP should read, regular readers of the ThaiVisa forum have heard about it.
  6. I doubt it, why would they, there is little chance of the large banks going bust. I plan to deposit 10 million at the end of this year. I might put it in SCB, which is owned by the Crown Bureau, it will not go bust. I wonder what would happen if a member of the bank staff decided to steal my 10 million ; would I only be covered for 1 million baht here?
  7. Not me. This is the first I or my wife have heard about it.
  8. They are lucky, I know no Thais in Khon Kaen who are healthy and under 60 who have got it.
  9. As stated earlier, foreigners my age have already registered. Thais are told "no vaccine, wait a couple of months"
  10. Do you not belive him? looks under control to me, many getting vaccines.
  11. There is no registration where I live, Khon Kaen, unless over 60. Foreigners under 60 have ways to register though.
  12. Some in Bangkok Hospital, Khon Kaen, others in Bangkok(must be resident there)
  13. My God, I am Thai and not able to get an appointment, while moaning foreigners are getting jabbed, yet continually complain about everything.
  14. Especially as these complaining foreigners have now jumped the queue ahead of some Thais. I am Thai and can't register anywhere, and all my foreign friends under 60 have, this is in Isarn.
  15. Sure, but Thais outnumber foreigners. by 100-1. Different set of personal values, personal freedom is much more prominent in Americans, for example.
  16. One could argue it was the Chinese's fault initially and then the farang for not wearing masks.
