Yeah, i live in my wife's mountain village where all her relatives live, everyone knows everyone's business, I am the only western foreigner living in an overgrown village, just keep your mouth closed and go about your business as if nothing bothers you and let your wife deal with it, that way everyone wont be saying ahh the farang hates this or that blah blah.. you get it ? its bad enough that they resent you for having so much money. buy yourself a condo or something far away to escape to every once in awhile. just for your sanity. I have been in the mountains over 28 years, I took up farming cassava just to keep mental, kinda a ZEN thing working in a field peaceful. many of the people here on this forum don't know what it's really like to live outside of their comfort farang city. I havent seen a farang in over 2 years now and i prefer it.

And i could care less if you read this, and of course people like you would say what i write is false, try living among thais instead of living in your foreign bubble

Do you think a farang living in a rural village can actually say or do anything except keep their mouth shut ? please tell me , I can use some advice on how to deal with all these yaba , mentally ill , glue heads , i cant remember how many times the house and store has been robbed and other peoples homes also, that i am surrounded by on my soi. The police will do nothing, I have installed cameras all around seem to help a little. the way they deals with it is when caught people get to beat the <deleted> out of them and then life goes on till the next time. there is a big difference between you living in a city and a rural village

well it seems you don't have a camera , or maybe even a car. yes, I have a front and rear camera. and i am sure just about everyone else has them. and yes, there are even the 360 camera set ups also. Geeez ........

I am starting to question this today when the family across the street last week were all tested and told they had covid, they were not taken to a facility ,just told to stay home. Now this family is suppose to have covid, A boy, a teenager, both parents who have AIDS ( one has a CD4 count of about 50 ) and their mother. NOT one of them have any of the symptoms, in fact they all feel just fine. Now the attitude among the neighbors is that Covid is nothing to worry about.
