If you notice, the agencies responsible,other than the identifying agency, are blaming the problem on exterior problems and not accepting the responsibility for the problem. It was this....it was that......the problems was caused by .........

On beta channel updates for Firefox. Currently have Firefox 14. No problems. I check for udates to all my programs by using FileHippo update checdker (free program from FileHippo). Try updating first.

There's a lot of ridiculous ignorant comments by posters. There are many reasons why a police department or investigators temporaily keep information from the press leeches when they are trying to gather information about crimes. But of course posters here have to spout out all kinds of negative things, unvalidated comments about censorship.....and on it goes.

The only real complaint I have concerning CM immigration is that they need to double the size of their waiting room. They have tried hard to make a number of improvements to their system, but not enough room for customers without walking all over each other.

I think the expansion can't be considered because of space to expand there. All in all, I have not experienced all the hassles that others are complaining about. I just go there knowing I will be there awhile to conduct the business.

On the brighter side, it feels really good when your finished and walk out the door until the next time you have to go there!

Did 90-day report for the first time with barcode. Processing it took 5 minutes, getting to the window took 45!

I thought you had to leave the country and come back every 90 days for a business visa. Retired people don't have a staff

Retired persons on a retirement extension can not get a WP to work. If on a married extension, they can.

Some places want 6 months left on passport.

In 15 years, immigration CM only ask for supporting docs once when I switched methods. I was prepared and had copies with me of all pensions. Just be prepared to get ask. Some try and cheat the system, so can understand the spot checking. Good luck.

Just wondering if they will update the whole industry. When I go in to my SCB and try to take money out on my ATM (Canada) card they can't do it. I have to go to the machine and it will not give me more than ten thousand baht even though the ATM bankcard allows me $1,000 a day. They tell me That the SCB machine will only allow me 20,000 baht a day and I must do it in two transactions.

I need more than that for a month and I don't mind the 150 baht charge but twice for less than I need is ridicules so I go inside use my Visa for all that I need and transfer the money on line from my savings account to my Visa who in turn charge me a money advance fee.

No trouble getting $3000 transfered inside the bank with my debit card. The limit of $5000 per transaction is my US banks limitation, not the Thai banks. Bangkok Bank told me there was no limit with transfering to their account.

You guys are real tools and should get out of the country...based upon your lack of acceptance of cultural differences between Thailand and your own home country. If you are complaining about foreigners being targeted by random drug tests, you're morons. First off, foreigners are guests of this country that are expected to comply with the statuatory laws and cultural morals of Thailand and if not, be ready to be asked to leave the country quite quickly. Secondly, why would anyone with any sense or intelligence expect the IMMIGRATION police to randomly check Thais? IMMIGRATION POLICE, doesn't that light the light bulb in your heads, no matter how dim it might be? Lastly, if you aren't doing anything wrong, then you have nothing to worry about for the most part. No culture or country is perfect and if you're going to whine and complain about such an insignificant event, get the hell back to your own country and leave this relative paradise to the appreciative and respectful visitors and expats. Good riddance and don't let the plane door hit you in the ass.

Just more talk so far. Draft them and send them to the south and border to defend against the terrorists and insurgents, and don't give them a chance to steel Army weapons. May solve the future problem of school hoodlems fighting each other in school.
