Nothing wrong with what he has built for Thai style......just that with the funds he has...or his missus and inlaws has on his behalf......he could have really built something that says WOW.....this does not and if you like ordinary....yet admittedly large ordinary....then this place is fine.

They are called 'aircards'....i have a AIS one and works a treat most times.

Connection slow at times, but for simple stuff and browsing it is fine......big dowloads or uploads very slow.

As for using different company in and AIS usb.....I would say not, doubt they would want that happening.

Most shops and businesses in Oz have their own merchant accounts...i had one with my bank for 2 different businesses years ago. But they accept c/c payments electronically in the store or office as such, also had the old manual slider and voucher thingy many moons ago.

The online acceptance is very different though isn't it. You cannot really have your own c/c payment facility on your websites shopping cart unless you are of significant size or as you say, serious money. Some sites do have their own payment facilities, but no idea what is involved in organising and getting this level of online payment where you do not have to use any 3rd party system such as paypal etc.

I am looking to use 3 payment options, paypal if I can get it without hassles and the thai one and another considered good for a separate large local market.

Me thinks youse is right.

As my online volume increases, I hope to get a _real_ merchant account.

Thaiepay I have heard good things...also very easy set up etc.

They are not Paypal though......but I am ignorant to the real differences.

Does thaiepay operate in $US and pay into bank accounts anywhere ?? or only accounts in Los and into Thai baht ??

The same reason that I do not wish to house things here in Los would be the same reasons I do not wish to engage with a partner in some offshore jurisdiction to look after my interests.

I have and always will try to control my own future as much as possible.....trusting thai authorities to help with that is just not going to happen, nor would I jump into bed with some strangers in a strange country that require partnership to transact privacy on my behalf.

I like to take care of things myself....that way if I <deleted> up....nobody to kill and I will not go to jail and leave my kids alone.

The one problem with Paypal in Thailand is you can not open a Merchant account for selling online from a website.

I would not say that it does not all add up.

I would say that what is being stated though may not be entirely the correct case and that the people that know him personally are sticking up for him as mates......yet the information available to us gives a different opinion to what they think and know or think they know.
