Yin, can I borrow some money? Can you help me get a visa to your country? Can you help me get a job in your country? Can you adopt my child? can you pay for a funeral in my family? Can you help me, help me, help me. ....

Well did you go to some government offices to get a lot of paperwork for hours and hours??? And get married in a government office or sign more paperwork there and get a big certificate???
-
Also people, the OP has autism, he will take things you write literally, and not usually understand jokes, sarcasm and these kind of things.

I’m not seeing in the original post anything about a baby, how did that come up??
-
If you have autism, you probably cannot handle this kind of situation, and yes, a Thai woman can trick you easily. Best to not come back to Thailand and let her divorce you by herself. Stop talking to her. Don’t get married again unless you confirm you are divorced or you will be breaking the law in your country.

Yes, I am definitely old enough, however I do have autism.
Okay, well that explains a lot. She can get a divorce based on having no contact with you for two years I believe. Abandoned. If she is willing to go that way.

I believe he stated in a press conference that he was protected and nobody can touch him. I took that to mean something special!! I think these guys don’t need to pretend anymore who they really work for.

What is the penalty you are facing? Are you planning to go back and face it? You will need a passport again someday. Maybe making some restitution with the remaining money would help the situation? You might want to start thinking long term regarding your life so you can make it better, because short term thinking got you into this problem.

It's not a matter of need, just opportunity. If someone offered you a ferrari for the same price as a fiat, which would you go for?
If you think they are "easy to shut down", you ought to try it yourself.
But it is not a Ferrari is it? That would be Cindy Crawford or someone like that at their prime, and from your own culture and matching your education and class. This is more like a brand new young tuk-tuk, and you have to go live in another country to take advantage of it, giving up large parts of your life.

I hope we can close this discussion now. Kids of wealthy families marry somebody of another wealthy families in Asia. But again, age gap is not a problem here. It is for you maybe. Actually you should have stayed where you came from. No need to reply to this post. I wont read it. It is not worth to discuss it with such naive people like you and the other guy. <deleted>.

Well this attitude on display is often why a man needs to marry a woman 30 years younger and luckily one who doesn’t speak his language ...easy to shut down and if all else fails just stop paying, right???
-
Funny too, isn’t Sweden one of the countries with the most income equality?? Yet Lars has to travel to Thailand and the PI to leverage his higher income to date women...so he can go backwards how many decades in time??
-
That is not true that an age gap means nothing here. People will not say anything and it is more common because there are more poor females and poor families. People also don’t say much about corruption and various other ways of getting money that they need or want. That does not mean that they dream about living that way, or like it.
I don’t think you see wealthy families setting up their children with older men because the age gap means nothing?? They don’t do it at all.

People on this site are always bashing Thailand, yes it's not perfect by far but it has some good points. You talk as if it's the worst country in the world lol I don't understand this constant flaming of Thailand or anything it does. I think this scanner is a good thing so stop bad mouthing it. It helps keep the doggy people out and that is a good thing. But you people constantly ridicule and make fun of Thailand, sure it's funny to start with but please change the the record everything you say is a so negative. I would judge from some of the ridiculous comments posted, people making the posts don't even live in Thailand, you just use this site to sound off your bigoted ignorant views that are so toxic. YOU ARE NOT FUNNY GET A LIFE
Emotional newbie reaction....give it some time!!

You didn't say what the outcome was at the hotel?
She gave me the key once I made that threat!!
But I had argued quite a bit already, I asked her, how do you know I am not leaving Thailand tomorrow, 29 days before my visa expires ...where is one supposed to stay if not allowed in a hotel?? The major international airport is in this city I believe???
It was strange, what was her angle? The hotel had a lot of empty rooms during my stay so they were not overbooked, I look like a proper quality tourist in every way, so no way was it me. Weird.

You could try this place, Expat Auto Chiang Mai ...com, I think they can work as an agent for you buy and sell cars. They seem to have good reviews.
Read the website.
-
Well obviously many people would be selling things upon leaving, which would coincide with the time their visas might be expiring??

Since they have some power at on office like that for your car to deny you services, maybe you need to offer a payment for extra help to get your job accomplished. Be nice, beg, plead, for help, bring a Thai person to ask for you if you are not good at that. Probably just making up <deleted> to get the bribe.

I was told that a few years ago, at a popular hotel near the American embassy in BKK ...that I could not check in to my prepaid Agoda room because I had exactly 30 days left on my visa, for my one night stay!!
I even had a stamp in my passport that immigration was working on my next visa already.
I said my visa is is still valid until the day it expires, I can do what I want here, including stay in a hotel. She was very insistent. Finally I told her to either give me the damn key or call the police right now and have them arrest me, or tell her I am legal, let’s see what happens?? I’m still confused what she thought she was going to accomplish. This is some dumbass version of “your passport must still have 6 months on it” so now some people think for themselves that your visa must still have time on it ....???

Much respect for an officer who obliviously knows that the person he's abetting is gaming the system and falsifying the funds requirement?
Well what are the choices? Do you want Geronimo thrown out? Apparently he has a wife a child. Normally in most countries he would not need a big bank account to stay. Maybe you can help all three of them go live in your country on welfare because he doesn’t sound employable at this point, listening to his posts ....although before I had the impression he was a younger guy??

Oh, well can you use agents there? I thought people did things directly there and you said you did that last time. I thought people use agents inside Thailand? But whatever ...glad you are not in jail dude!! Lucky!!

Do I need a visa to help gf sell food
in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits

Just don’t do it. You will embarrass the woman. Everyone will be talking about her nonstop. What kind of idiot brings their boyfriend to work to sit like a little puppy all day?? Would you do that to your girlfriend in Los Angeles or Paris? Are you a man or a puppy?? Go find some things to do that are enjoyable and valuable with your time while you are on vacation. I imagine you are spending a lot of money to come here?? Don’t waste it like that!!
