Hi level defence officials have Facebook accounts
Time to give them new jobs as high level toilet cleaners...
One would think they can actually think straight and be very concious of their actions. But alas!

So a person married to a Thai has no right to buy a piece of land in the name of his / her spouse, and build a house to live in?
Nationalistic pricks.

Ask the Thais where you work. I believe they should be able to point you in the right direction. Interest should be between 5 and 10 percent, depending on how well they know you and your negotiation skills.
They might ask to hold on to your passport during the duration of the loan.

Funny!
Make sure you ask her farang bf who bought her the car if it is ok also....sorry could not resist it lol.
Funny though! Just like the guy driving mine coming over to ask me if he could drive it.
Well, I thank God for providing the money to buy another one.

have any foreigners had to pay tea money to secure a job? Or is this only thais? I understood that all that was needed was bachelor/master's degree or tefl certification. Have any foreigners also had to pay an "application fee" to apply?
Never heard of a farang being asked for tea money.
Me and my friends used to pay the girls working at the teaching agency we worked for 7 yrs ago up to B500 monthly in order to be sent to good schools. Those that benefited the most were the guys that were sleeping with them at the time.

I got that with Thanachart two years ago, but that was 1,000 per side of the car.

Isn't it supposed to be dangerous to use a dark alley?

Try watching videos on the subject on YouTube.

The prices of the various capacity of Blackberry Playbook are way low in the states; starting at $199 for the 16GB to $299 for the 64GB. As I'm in the market for one, I decided to check the prices here, but they're still way too expensive despite the price slash. The 16GB costs B9,900, and the 64GB, B16,900.
I really wonder what's responsible for the steep price difference.

nice one, thanks.

It's time to put an end to Facebook.
The only reason I still use it is because I don't want family members to think I unfriend them. I've tried to educate them on its privacy issues to no avail.

A Laos national was allegedly scammed out of 21 Million Baht by a group of three foreign nationals who used a popular email scam technique to persuade the victim to send the money which would be used to obtain paperwork which would unlock funds totaling 2 Million US Dollars held in a United Nations account.
Called stupidity.
It all comes down to greed.
-
Unbelievable that people still fall for that scam.
Greedy people will continue to fall it.

I can't buy anything fake that costs as much as the real thing. It should cost a fraction of the real one's, or it wouldn't be worth the trouble.

Legalizing bribery. Smart move.

Frankly stating this guy is an terrorist might be a little too much....
Or he forgot his training..
Be discreet, go to target un-noticed and such potential instruction don't mix very well with throwing grenade at a taxi that does not want to take you....
An idiot with a bag of grenade yes... Terrorist not sure...
Maybe he had second thought.

Haven't been there for some time. But, doesn't Sukhumvit 71 have quite a few mosques along it? Seems a strange place to pull this BS!
There is a Mosque nearby this area.
Two actually.

There was an ad on craiglist last week about the subject. I don't remember which section exactly, but I'm sure you can find it easily.

Return to serve his jail term, or return to cause more conflicts?

I can understand when it happens to you it could make you panic a bit but its soon sorted as there is no conspiracy.
Yeah, I did when it happened to me and it almost cost me what was left in the account.
The shop owner where the machine was located told me to go to the nearest BIB station. When I got there and reported, they took the card and asked for my pin number, wrote it on a piece of paper and asked an officer to go with me to check what I had in the account.
It then occured to me to call my then wife, and as I finished reporting the situation to her, the university student who was their interpreter, asked whom I'd called and reported to, and I told her. She ran to tell the BIB what I'd done. They quickly returned my card and asked me to call the bank to report the situation.
My money was returned after a few days.

You can just buy a soldering iron and some lead if you're sure the above is all you need done to the laptop. if you don't want to buy one, and there's a guy fixing mobile phones in your street, you can just ask him to do it for you.
