A number of TV literallyn positive feedback on Dr. Patarapong...but of  course,. for something lik this, a private hospital is a very expensive route to  go unless insured.

Dr. Patarapong is a specialist in intervention cardiology (stent placement, balloon angioplasty etc) so I very much doubt he has suddenly developed a "preference" not to perform these procedures. More likely he had reason not to do so in a particular case(s).

Thanks Sheryl. Your remaks about Dr Pattarapong being specialized in "intervention cardiology (stent placement, balloon angioplasty etc) may have clarified the issue, as the discussions i listened to involved two disgruntled ex pats, who both required complex tripple bi-pass (cabag) and said he would not be performing such. I took them litarally.

FYI, Another conversation, they said Prof. Thanawat is leaving Sripat CMU to work at Bangkok Hospital, Chiang Mai.

I am on heart medication myself via Australian cardiologist. Hence have a vested interest. I'm not in this as a busy body.

  2. With ref to the cardiologists in Chiang Mai, as anyone had first hand experience with Dr. Pattarapong of Chiang Mai Ram hospital, for Stent and/or Coronary Bypass procedure.

Preferably advice relative to the Professors at Bangkok Hospital Chiang Mau, and Siripat CMU.

I have heard mixed reviews, and found that he prefers NOT to medically operate on patients recently.

I live not far from their clubhouse.

They must do an awful rbusiness" as they are always" wearing their patches.

Its rather amusing too see a big bad biker on his honda wave wearing his colours.

Thanks. Yeh thinks may have changed. Countries are different also.

As for the "Plastic Bikies", I've seen a few all dressed up in leathers with a home made patch on the back, a bandana on their bald head, playing pool in the bar whilst showing off their tattoos, then as you say riding off on Honda Wave...all except for the main man, who rides a 200cc Honda "chopper". Thanks for the laugh. Cheers

Come on guys, can't you see that this guy is just an adolescent troll. An attention seeker.

He's had 500 posts on here since July...most being deliberate stupid questions.

So let's lets just ignore him, and he'll go away. But hope that he doesn't grow up to be a teacher.

  5. These older 'bikies' are wearing their "patches" on the back of their tops....with cct close up should t be hard to id them. As for being foreign "bikers", maybe they are locals with a local bikers chapter, again their patches would establish this.

n As for the Thai kids, they did have their Honda PCX, which would be they're prize possession, run over by the others. If someone did that to you or I then would you not want to identify them for reimbursement, as the kids did not try to fight. Because some Thai kids fight it didn't mean they all do. But it pleases some here to tar everyone with the same brush..stereotyping.

There were news articlleic here in this forum in January of this year.   If there is solid evidence they tend to name the (number of) kids and the ages, but it didn't go beyond lewd images found on his computer.

That said, I don't know any more than you do.

Then, that said, please do not even attempt to defend the indifencable.

Much has been said, on this forum about who gets the harsher treatment, Thais or farangs. For the life long damage made to children, be it only as you minimize it, by stating, "but it didn't go beyond lewd images found on his computer", then I would like to think that anyone, of any race, who betrays the trust put on them by innocent children, then they all equally deserve a far more harsher sentance than the one handed down here.

Anyone that's deluded enough to think that this current crop of thieves at the top are any different to anyone before needs to think again.

It's all about protecting their revenue streams, nothing more.

Corruption continues to live on. Disgusting. And not even subtle about it.

The "current crop" have always been at the very top. Any "crop", before them were just their subordinates.

I try to keep it humorous. There is way to much verbal blood letting on TV. Some posters when they get a bone in their mouth they will not let go. Some days after people rip me apart here I feel in the need of a transfusion. It takes fewer muscles to laugh than to frown.

Good on you for brightening peoples day.

Actually these signs have been used for at least three or four  years....  on several beaches.around Samui.  Even some hotels  have warning signs posted.

White Vinegar is easy to buy if one wishes to take extra  precautions..

If there is no vinegar, get someone to urine on it (People p+ss and sh*t on me everyday, no big deal).

Bear Gryllis, the television adventurer, was stung on his arm recently, so he had one of the Spice Girls, who was part of his group, to drop them, and p*ss on his arm. Thats his story anyhow !!!

As my old grandmother used to say "You can fool some of people some of the time but you  cannot fool all the people all the time. " In my country the prize is many times more and tax free. In my 6 years here I have learned that nothing is free not even dying.

If your grandmother used to say that, then congratulations, as you may be a direct decendant to Sir Winston Churchill.
