I used it also to have penfriends actually started a relationship with a thai women in minnesota she is married and only a friend to me. actually gave me much useful advice on my troubles with immigration about my thai wife. I am not a playboy and if you believe it or not then that's up to you.

Look under Visa's and Migration to other countries. What do u want to know?? I just got good news about my wife and she was given her visa on Nov 2. I applied for a Immigration visa and it took 2 yrs to be finally finished. Their is another visa a k-1 visa, It is called a Fiance visa. Your GF can come to the states but she has 90 days to marry if not then she goes back. You can also use it for a spouse, but she will be under Non-Immigrant status. You will have to do more paperwork to change her status.

That is why I had gotten an Immigration visa, I know it took longer but now she is legal to stay. She waits for her green card now. If you have any other questions just ask. I'll be happy to help you out.

You can also go to www.BCIS.gov That is the website for US Immigration.

I just heard on the BBC news (1815 Thailand time) that 2 more buddists were shot dead in seperate incidents in southern Thailand.

My wife went and applied for her Tourist Visa today. Not too worried about her getting it as this will be her second trip to the U.S. However, just a word of caution if anyone else is having someone apply. Apparently, the one-week apply then interview delay has turned into more than three weeks. We don't have her interview until Nov 30. I was being all chilled about things, thinking the one-week rule was the norm. Glad she went in when she did, or it could have really screwed up the travel plans.

Anyone else heard about or experienced this of late?

The usual I guess give some to the folks and the wifes folks, buy a new car. Take the wife on holidays to lots of different countries , generally try to stop spending it.

I'd like to but a nice holiday home in Phuket, met a guy in a bar there once called "dave" reconed he was in the "trade" and could sort me out with something nice, he seemed a bit dodgy to me though
