He tells Dave Kendall that Thailand is corrupt to the core.
Whoever would have guessed, and this is news, really?
At least they don't try to hide it,and it appears to be thriving and in good health.

Cannabis is nowhere near as addictive as cigarettes, where do they get this misinformation from? And what difference would a prescription make ? It certainly hasn't helped the millions who are addicted to valium and other antidepressants that the quacks hand out like toffees
"medical" cannabis is a relatively new thing how many of these quacks are even qualified or experienced in prescribing it at all
After smoking it for over 40 years with no ill effects , no depression , no suicidal thoughts and no schizophrenia I certainly don't need a guy in a white coat or anybody else to "advise" me about cannabis and will continue to "self medicate" until I go to meet my maker
Same here, we've been together now everyday for 45 years, most marriages, though they're are exceptions, don't last that long.

They simply can't help themselves.Asking them to be honest is akin to asking a bear, not to sh*t in the woods.
If found guilty sack the 5 of them, none of this nambi pambi moving them on to pen pushing or paperwork shuffling nonsense.

They want all the wealthy and highly skilled farangs in here, but appear to do as much as they can to dissuade them, and they wonder why the elite visa is such an ill conceived failure, and not receiving the number of applicants
forecast.
Does the consumption of rice or noodles affect the decision making part of the brain?

Very very sad.RIP Sir.

he was, in fact, according to him, just stooping down to pick up an inhaler that he had dropped
That's okay then. It tells you all you need to know about Thai drivers. He put his passengers in danger by retrieving an inhaler, because that was far more important than keeping his eyes on the road. No wonder the tourist screamed, and in true Thai fashion making it someone else's fault, he blamed the tourist for reacting to his dangerous driving.
The day a Thai can take responsibility for their actions is the day hell freezes over.Never will they ever allow their trumped up over bloated faces to lose weight.

These spendthrift dumba$$es will take down the banking system one day.
I hope I'm not around when it happens????
Money burns a hole in Thai pockets.
Only the very few can manage it correctly.
Never have I heard more truer words spoken. The parents of todays Thai People were the same and taught their children the proud art of borrowing beyond their means and the mismanagement of money, and so,stupidness begets stupidness, and on and on it goes.

Credit where credits due. Well done to the club and it's owners, they took the right course of action in my opinion, but it was their intoxicated on power bouncer.that should of been made to cough up and foot the compensation bill. That would probably have been."I got no money"
A Thai's favourite saying,in which case it should have been him seeing how it felt to wear handcuffs.

A Norwegian was fined 5,000 baht for doing the same thing near the end of last year, ten times as much as the Thais were fined.
Dual pricing personified.
Have lived in P'lok 20 years and gotta say things are a lot cheaper than Pattaya where I lived previously, especially fines...Well,on the hole at least.

Exactly, you'd think if your credit cards went missing they'd report that to the bank immediately to stop and transactions.
But by the time you've discovered they're missing, because you're out socialising or at the gym etc .The deed has been done and you're the loser.

Well David Armitage, I bet you thought that after more than 18 years this was well and truly forgotten. However, if you are in any way responsible, remember, there is no statute of limitation in UK law with regards to murder or manslaughter …. and plod does like a cold case.
Revenge or Karma can very often take a longtime and both enjoyed cold so they tell me.

Yes I check my account but it is not enough, i think with all this kind of problems it is important to know the name of the bank.
Yes so do I,but of course we're not permitted to know.About as much transparency here as scuba diving in treacle. At least in the west, the banks who are responsible for their employees get massive fines, named and shamed for any nonsense that gets commited.

Yes 4 million baht a lot of money, but let's just not put this man down for his naivity or foolishness, there are many like him.Take those thousands of people, through some might say their own greed, who got swindled out of a total of $4 billion(now that's serious money)investing their hard earned with Ruja Ignatova, the Bulgarian crypto queen and her so called bitcoin beater one coin that never existed, but was in fact only a giant Ponzi scheme,so it's easy to jump on the Dutchman, but in truth he's far from being immune or alone when it comes to the schemes of these conwomen.

I understand there are 20,000 jobs available for Foreign Labour in the Tourist Sector; so there are plenty of jobs available for Thai's 'if' they want to work. Sadly around the Villages where i live are hundreds of Thai 'Men' i have been seeing every day for 15 years sitting around doing nothing apart from drinking Beer from 8am and smoking rolled up Tobacco Leaves whilst their Wives work 20 hours a day to support their habits and feed the Family. It's about time the Government got their own 'Men' to actually do some work and stop worrying about a few Farang with no Work Permits !!
Yes you are correct.
If there was a war in this country, I'm in no doubt it would be the women who would fight and win it,while the guys would sit around all day red eyed drinking their lao kao.

Wise v Deemoney
in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
Posted
I have been using wise for many years now since they were recommended to me by a guy at my local bureau de change in the Uk,and never ever had a
problem with them. The fees are reasonable enough, the only thing I don't understand,is it seems to take 3-5 days for larger amounts, but it arrives in my Thai bank in literally under 10 seconds for smaller amounts.
If it's only transferring into Thailand you require, you would be wise to stick with wise.????
