The Met Police WON'T ban Poppy Day pro-Palestine rally
Sue Ellen, you really got this one wrong. At least 300,000 marched demanding Israel stopped murdering civilians with their bombing and a tiny, tiny fraction are detained for hate speech. Whilst the bovver boys, all two hundred of them turned up and couldn't resist fighting, kicking police and even throwing a barricade. Hamas are evil, but so have been many of Israel's actions, from kicking Palestinians off their land to Netanyahu's previous support of Hamas at the expense of the Palestinian Authority in his desire to prevent the formation of any Palestinian state. Evil on both sides but the people suffer

Jimmy Page should have credited the original artists at the time. He has a reputation for being stingy, and imo he certainly enhanced that with his reluctance to acknowledge his sources, And now for something completely different.- Blast from the Past - 60's, 70's, 80's,90's Music (2023)

JS came back in the form of Garth Hudson- Dom, captain of Wild Boars football team, killed himself at school in UK
Hindsight is easy but I reckon you're on the right track. As someone said, Leicester City was owned by Vichai, multi millionaire, and probably he or his group saw this as a win, win. Give Dom a chance he could never have dreamed of, and at the same time burnish the name of Vichai, Kings Power and Leicester City. As mentioned the school has many international students but I wonder if most are from wealthy families or at least the students have a strong English language background. Dom could have felt isolated and the weight on his shoulders from the expectations of the media, etc to succeed may have been overwhelming.- Dom, captain of Wild Boars football team, killed himself at school in UK
Perhaps he was homesick and felt out of place. Presumably he could phone home in his free time. Maybe he realised he didn't want to be a footballer or study in England but felt he couldn't let people down. Presumably there was no suicide note. RIP Dom, it shouldn't have come to this.- Paetongtarn becomes new leader of Pheu Thai

Her big hit 15 odd years ago. When everyone was getting mobile phones and suddenly all the Issan and other Thai migrant workers working in Bangkok and the Eastern Seaboard could get in touch with each other easily. Who here remembers going to a public phone box with a yellow card, costing 500 baht, an arm and a leg at the time, and trying to phone abroad through the deafening traffic noise?- Do I have to be out of Thailand for 180 days?
My wife died three years ago but I want to visit her daughters and grandchildren whom I am close to.- Do I have to be out of Thailand for 180 days?
I had a retirement visa for three years but for various reasons I have now returned to live in the UK. However I wish to return to Thailand two or three times a year, a month at a time, to visit my Thai family. I plan to use the visa on arrival, however I wonder as I was in Thailand all this calendar year until September 10, would the authorities demand I remain outside Thailand for 180 days before I can get a visa on arrival? Thanking any replies in advance.- Blast from the Past - 60's, 70's, 80's,90's Music (2023)
