Most Thais who travel to USA already have and use their 10 year multiple entry visa. Most Thais with GOOD paperwork usually get this visa the second time they go for one and many get it the first time. The 10 year visa is also easy to renew. Your example is poor and Trump has nothing to do with it but he's up n your mind.

A Thai can buy many acres of land in the USA easily and they can get a 10 year multi entry tourist visa and then easily renew it another 10 years. Why in the world are you being such an over the top apologist? I'd love to hear from some normal retirees here. Rich Thais can buy so many different investment properties in the USA and not just one that sits on less than a 1/2 acre of land. You also seem to forget a Thai can easily marry an American and get a green card then citizenship too. There seems to be maybe 4 posters on here that have Thai citizenship ( maybe).

The ( what should be) simple e visa for a single entry 60 day tourist visa is the most pathetic visa system I ever went through! The ( confusing ) things they ask for , and then ask for the same thing again are a joke. One thing is uploading your last 12 months of international travel and it has to be done with ONE pdf!!! Are you kidding me?? Someone should make a U tube vid and show what you need to do to get a Thai visa then maybe show another country like Turkey or many others. THEN after you submit Thailand visa info it could be days or weeks before you get the e visa or find out you have to send more info or maybe even start all over again. Oh yah the visa for Turkey or other countries you often get back within minutes after processing! Who the heck set up the Thailand Tourist visa and METV system? They should be fired.

More to story. Want to stay through Songkran. I don't want to " waste " a 45 plus 30 days potential on arrival because I Have a trip to Maldives Dec 7 from BKK back Dec 12 so want to " keep " my 60 day tourist visa till end of Jan and then do + 30 days. Then take a trip outside Thailand and come back with 45 days exempt and extend 30 days ( but use just 2 weeks ) and return to USA April

Hi I know parts of my question have been answered but I'm applying for JUST the 60 day tourist visa ( arriving Nov 23) and these questions all came up in a row and two of them confuse me declaration? I have to upload this? What is this? I don't understand. Travel booking confirmation?? How is this any different from the next question down ? What do I upload? then Proof of accommodation in Thailand ( my plan was to upload one week reservation in Bangkok only. Is that ok.?) I left the next question about adding another place checked "no". Then upload all pages of travel last 12 months ( crazy!!) BUT I have new passport from May 22 , 2022 so I think just my picture page of passport I will upload here as UJ mentioned a few days ago. After having 5 METV's about 2014 to 2018 and several double and triple entry tourist visas before that none of them asked for more info than this silly 60 day visa.
