I've worked out at Tony's in Pattaya. It was kind of expensive, but pay per visit. You could at least get a feel for the place.

This is a damn shame, but probably a wise move on his part. Thanks for your service, Sir.

I forgot to mention the best technique for me, which is exposure to nature. Walking through a forest, or hiking a mountain, can make one realize that their troubles are for the most part trivial and transitory.

From what I've seen, many doctors like to make the problem go away by administering happy pills, of the family benzodiazepam. This includes valium and xanax, and many others. I strongly advise against this route. Long term and/or excessive dosages can lead to very serious addiction, and unimaginable horror when the victim is eventually forced into withdrawal. This may sound overly dramatic, but I have personal experience, and what I say is no exaggeration. It's best to find some natural way to deal with stress. I have several tools I use, including exercise, meditation, yoga, and focusing on my breath. Some of this stuff may sound fruity, but it actually works, and has no real drawbacks, except if one over exercises. In my experience, doctors just want to get the patient out the door with as little fuss as possible, and a prescription is an easy way to do this.

Bravo to Mr. Cunningham. It's nice to see somebody speaking the truth, and standing up to this incredibly corrupt system.

Slow news day, I reckon.

How about 'arresting' those guys from tailor shops and the like who are often really annoying trying to 'become friends' with you on the street? Small fines could pose a deterrent for them.
I agree , I have no problems with merchants in Pattaya, but the tailor guys are the worst of them all , I want to hit them in the face every time I walk pass them and they try to drag me in.
I agree. One would think that they would get the message after being told a dozen times, on several different days, that I have no interest in a suit. It almost seems that they enjoy being irritants.
-
Yes that is what I was told as well.
Nasty business a young guy too and during the day as reported to me.
Thailand has always been a violent country but in the past tourists were not that often caught up in that violence but that has certainly changed over the last few years.
Strange thing is, I can't find the story now. I forget exactly where I read it, may have been pattaya one, not sure.

Beware services are changing? Is that to imply that the Diana Inn could actually get worse?

Nearly a good Darwin award.

This is great. The rats are beginning to feed on each other. I hope this continues and escalates.

Is there something wrong with him mentally? He looks like an imbecile.

The fact that somebody makes a statement like this shows that they know nothing about the nature of addiction. As long as their are humans, there will be drug addiction. You can lock up a bunch of them, as has been done in thailand and elsewhere, you can even murder thousands of them, as has been done in thailand. The problem will not go away. This is just more ass clown pomposity, combined with ignorance.

What a bunch of nonsense. The great majority of what this ass clown is saying is a bunch of lies. Is anybody here actually buying this nonsense?

You can use your win 8 product key to activate a win 7 installation?
Thanks, harrry. Somehow I missed your link!
So basically, you need a Win 7 Pro product key -- any product key, even one already in use on another machine -- and then after the activation process fails, you use the Win 8 Pro produect key to activate by phone.
BB1950 posted while I was working on my reply, so we're all three in agreement now.

I agree, that teenage boy is very courageous. Too bad the story could not have had a better ending. Probably very lucky that the teenager was not killed as well.

Option 1: Vicious thugs/extortionists
Option 2: Crybaby.

Well done, DSI, but methinks this could have happened a lot sooner, and more of it too.

Seems like there was quite a bit of evidence against him.
None of it was enough to prove guilt was it?
From what I understand, it was enough 2 years ago.

Anyone else NOT watch the video? Call me cuckoo, but I get no thrill from watching people being murdered.
I won't watch it. I know this kind of horror exists, but I don't want it permeating my consciousness.

The 50,000 litre figure has been widely dismissed as ridiculous. On top of that, who is the money supposed to go to? Probably none of the people directly affected, I would guess.

Methinks they are serious. I like this quote by one of the offenders: "I have done everything by the book and I always talk with officials." Well, I guess 50% truthful is better than nothing.

If this was really 200 kg (440 pounds)of high grade white heroin, as I suspect, 426 million baht is not even a small down payment on the value. For once, the cops have underestimated the value.

Nice looking group of fellows. I imagine that if they were to pool all of their brain cells, they might summon up the IQ of a termite.
