Surely you jest. Win 8 is an abomination. Win 7 is the best OS that MS has to its credit.

Are these Phuket policemen intentionally trying to create a comedy routine? Their remarks are pretty amusing, I must admit.

I was mystified the first few times I visited Thailand. I would lose six or eight pounds on every trip, even though I was exercising about one quarter as much as I did back home, because of limited access to gyms, and pools, and no mountain bike there. I came to the conclusion that just walking around two or three hours a day in that heat burned a lot of calories. Also, since the food is so tasty and spicy, I would eat a lot less. I was wondering if eating all that hot food stimulates the metabolism?

What a bunch of fluffy nonsense. Perhaps she is trying to recruit more customers for the jet ski boys.
-
This part is extremely amusing: "Asked about the problem of jet ski and rental vehicle scams, Sen Thanyarat said, “We have good people in these businesses. But while 10 are good, one may be bad, which ruins everyone’s reputation." This person is either a bald face liar, or completely out of touch with the situation. If anything, it's exactly the reverse, one in ten might be a decent person. Actually, I pity any honest jet ski operators, because their scumbag colleagues have given a bad reputation to everybody.

The so called mass gainer products are full of calories, I think some of them can be mixed with water instead of milk. They contain lots of sugars and other carbs, and a nominal amount of protein. Just check at a place where they sell body builder products.

Isn't the entire VAT program a gigantic scam? I've never been able to collect a single baht.
-
I was mystified until I reread, and saw this part: "Despite their findings the Jet Ski Operator decided to return 25,000 Baht to the tourists who were low on money and needed the cash to pay off their outstanding Hotel Bill." Perhaps the hotel is owned by somebody more powerful than the scammers' masters?

They are ashamed / embarassed of course. They think that onlookers or their friends won't know they are with the farang, leeching off him.

I wonder if he met her in a bar.

Yes, power can dim your vision. But this is especially true if you're a complete dimbulb to start with. I guess one indicator of his brilliance is the way he so cleverly disguised his superior intelligence. I'm sure he confounded many of his foes with this tactic.

Good for you, my friend. Don't mind the naysayers, they are no doubt drowning in a glass of cheap whisky. You are to be congratulated. Make the most of the steps, it's one thing to be sober, it's another to actively pursue recovery.

If this is the same place I'm thinking of, I have seen this for years. It's down to the left side of ao nang beach, near the monkeys? It's like a little creek of foul water going into the sea. I think it's from a resort or hotel back up in the trees.

Seems that a pair of bullies got a bit of their own medicine. I wonder if they will learn from this lesson?

That is one butt ugly ladyboy. Probably thought having the family jewels surgically removed would make him beautiful.

Only times I've heard of guys being robbed and attacked by lady boys is when they are either trying to procure sex or dispute over services rendered.
Shoes missing? Hmmmm.
Ladyboys attack and rob guys quite often, I'm not too familiar with statistics in Phuket, but I know it happens often in bkk and pattaya. There is no reason required, except that the target appears to have money, and/or may not be able to defend their self. I have had to fend off some rather aggressive ones myself, and I was not trying to procure their services, I tried to not even look at them, until they try to grab me, or block my path. Some of them are experienced criminals, when you add drugs to the mix, all reason flies out the window.
Ok, so please let's have the Bangkok and Pattaya statistics.
I don't have the statistics. If you have eyes and a functioning brain, you should be able to see for yourself. I know what I have seen and experienced first hand. I don't have first hand experience from Phuket, because I have not chosen to go there in several years. If you're so skeptical, go for a walk down beach road, or sukumvit soi 4 in bkk late at night, alone. Maybe after that, you won't require statistics.

The phone vendors at mbk come and go frequently, especially the peddlers of used phones. Even if they did offer a guarantee, there's a good chance they might not be there a few months later to honor it.

Misdemeanors? That's a good bit of comedy right there.

I agree, it seems to be a cheap shot at English teachers in Thailand, implying that they are all drug users/sellers, losers, uneducated and worthless lumps of dung.

Good. Most excellent. For the majority of the LBs on Beach Road, the only way they can learn is through an administration of pain.

In addition, some of the people who turn that dark corner really enjoy killing and torturing people. Not all of them are doing it out of a sense of duty, and a desire to protect our society.

This is kind of interesting, this guy is a big shot. I wonder what the offense was? Maybe the shop with the 17 machines was on a protected list?

Good job. I hope they can destroy many more of these scumbags.
