  1. Thanks, but it could do with a bit of improvement. We are working on making the web board better, as well as getting more products on there. Never enough time in the day it seems. If anyone else is interested, it's www.hondasumetcycle.com .

Would be good to see the range of clothing and helmets online when you are updating it next. smile.png

Thanks for the feedback. I'll start getting some of our new Bilmola, L2S, Real, and Rider helmets on there this week. Most of the clothing we sell comes from the Honda Collection. I'll get the catalog up there as well. Also, if anyone is interested, you can join our Sumet Cycle Club page on Facebook. We often announce new products and promote upcoming Sumet events here. Here is a link http://www.facebook.com/groups/124641797638001/ .

  2. They are still around, but never sold very well which is why you don't see many on the road. Most of our customers who want an automatic seem to choose the Click or Scoopy. You can expect the same durability and reliabilty as the manual Waves though. Best of Luck.

  3. but do you charge foreigners more for these services or bike prices?

or Sumet Cycle is just more foreigner friendly?

And what is our address by the way?

Same prices and level of customer service regardless of nationality. Our address is -

    120/28-30 Prachachuen Rd.

    Bang Khen, Mueng

    Nonthaburi 11000

13.855206,100.544386 We are about 10 minutes from Mor Chit BTS Station. From downtown, head north on Viparwadee and turn onto Ngamwangwon Road. Then turn left onto Prachachuen Road at the first intersection you come to (don't go over the bridge, stay to the left) Just after you turn onto Prachachuen, you will see us on your right. Thanks.

  4. Comment if I may. Can i just state how appropriate and respectful this approach is.

Rather than hijacking a thread for clearly commercial services Sumet has introduced via separate thread his business and services .

Also as supporter of the forum Sumet Cycle is not just throwing up a post or railroading existing posts/ topics in an attempt to create business.

This is a professional, classy approach and having recently seen some shappy attempts by business's to sell their wares by hijacking threads this is a breath of fresh air.

Sumet, although I have not used your services nor do i know you or have any vested interest whatsoever thank you for promoting your services in such a respectful and professional manner.

    Rgds

Thanks for your kind words Monty.

  5. IF one was from CM and wated to fly down or take the bus and buy a bike could the bike be ready ? Would you do a bus station or airport pick up ? Be a wonderful ride back to get to know ones new bike.

I'm not sure about a pick-up, but I'd be willing to pay your taxi fare from Don Muang or Chatujak Bus Station. Once you are here to make the purchase, we'll pop the battery in, do a pre-sale check, and you can be on your way back home. It doesn't take long at all. We once had a customer who came up from Pattaya to buy a bike and then rode it back home. It's a great way to get to know the bike and break it in at the same time. Thanks.

  6. Excellent, i will be up in Bangkok next week. Where is Sumet Cycle located?

Do you have any aftermarket parts for the CRF250L??

I'm expecting more CRFs in sometime this week. I'll let you know as soon as they arrive. Here is our location. 13.855206,100.544386 I can order any of the genuine Honda accessories. I'll also check around to see if there are any other manufacturer's aftermarket parts available. Is there anything specific you are looking to get? Thanks.

  7. I'm not sure about a motard version. I did mention it to AP Honda's research and development team when I met with them a few weeks ago. There is a dealers' meeting in July and I've been told three new models will be released. Not sure if one of them will be a CRF motard though. I guess we'll have to keep our fingers crossed.

  8. You'll need to do the first service at 1,000km and then at 4,000km. After this it's every 4,000km. You can do the service at any Honda dealer, but be sure to bring in the service booklet that came with the bike so they can note that the service was done. Best of Luck.

  9. Can we get contact details for the Bowin shop selling the new PCX ?

Just checked the list of authorized Honda dealers and I can't find any listing for Bowin. Here is the number for AP Honda's call center, perhaps they have more information. 02-725-4000 Best of luck.

  10. Brian, you may or may not know this. The very small Honda Tank bags (good for camera, smokes, phone and paperwork, then it's full) fit perfectly on the KLX 250. The magnets hold onto the metal strips just below the tank. Works perfect and has never failed even when the bike went down.

Dollar for dollar those Honda Bags are good value.

Thanks, I didn't know that. They are great value for the money. The large ones will fit on a variety of bikes as well.

  11. I just picked up my PCX for 75,900 out the door with insurance a free helmet and Honda backpack, it was from Neyom Honda here in Chiang Mai, i put a thousand baht down and i guess that lock in the price from 7 weeks ago, i had brought 85,000 with me because i was sure i was going to have to pay big time i was nicely surprised that they held to the locked in price and it didn't hurt that my sister in law knew the manager. so far i love the bike it goes very well off the line and even with me and my wife on it ( i weigh 215lbs) i use the idle kill and see no problem with any battery issue and I'm surprised how flawlessly it goes with just a twist of the throttle. I was looking at the Mai Thai website and love all the accessories that i can get (wife is rolling here eyes back at the mention of the place) is there a similar place like that here in Chiang Mai? would appreciate any help finding accessories!

Not sure about shops in Chiang Mai, but here are a couple of links for shops here in Bangkok that you can get some ideas from.

Most of the stuff is for the 125 version, but can still be used on the 150. If you can't find any shops in Chiang Mai, let me know. I could always get what you want and ship it up to you. Best of luck.

Thank you very much Brian, how is shipping with in Thailand? is it fairly quick and does it cost alot? Also can you get all the parts from the links you provided or would it be better if i ordered the parts from them? Thanks again Louie.

Shipping stuff is usually pretty cheap, unless it is something really heavy. We actually use a private shipping company and they usually complete delivery in 1-2 days. You could certainly order from them, but if you feel more comfortable dealing with me, I could source the stuff for you. I don't stock a lot of PCX accessories here at the shop. Customers usually place orders and I get what they want. Thanks.

  13. Yes, you stated that right after I posted my price of 85k. It was pretty clear that you were lumping me in with "any dealer charging 85k" and implying that I was ripping people off. You are free to your opinion, which is why I debated you and didn't report you to the mods. It's not what you said, it's how you said it. Your prices are too high. That's ok. Why do you charge so much? That's ok too. Implying that I rip people off is pure slander. This is getting silly anyway. I've clearly stated my case and have nothing more to say. I was just trying to defend my company's reputation, which I will always do. At any rate, no hard feelings on this end.

  14. Selling above MSRP is not a rip off, it's simply selling above MSRP. Some businesses have higher expenses, while others have lower expenses. This is reflected in the sticker price. Where do you think you would get a better deal on say a new Ducati, Manhattan or upstate New York? Manhattan of course, because it costs a lot more to operate a business there. Get it yet? So please stop slandering by business by saying I'm ripping people off.

  15. Yep, be carefull when installing such aftermarket things like frame protectors (frame sliders) on your Kawasaki. You risk breaking the frame which is NOT covered by warranty smile.png

    http://www.motorcycl...F/_/R-EPI-93423

    http://www.motorcycl...asakier6frames/

Yep, modifications to frame and/or engine usually do void a factory warranty on any vehicle. Best to realize this fact and know what you're doing before you start messing about.

I just put cut style frame sliders on my CBR 1000. I don't believe any modifications to the frame were made to do it. Do you think this will effect my warranty?

If the sliders you installed bend or crack your frame would you expect the damage to be covered by your Honda warranty?

You should probably take a moment to READ your warranty.

Most vehicle warranties include language that specifically excludes damage caused by unauthorized modifications of the vehicle or installation of unauthorized parts.

    Thanks for the advice.
