You usually have to remove the small plastic piece that runs around the bottom of the grab bar. You then bolt the rack on and only re-install the top section of the grab bar. Best of luck.

Not sure about other places, but we always refund deposits if customers change their mind.

Be sure to bring the deposit receipt with you and they should give you your money back. Best of luck.

Here is another link to Bikers website. I have some of their stuff in stock here at the shop, but can also order and ship anything you see on their website.

Our main business is selling motorcycles and scooters. We don't actually stock a lot of accessories here at the shop. Customers usually tell me what they want and I order for them. Here are a couple of more links that you can check out.

If you see anything you like, let me know. We can also ship anywhere in Thailand. Best of luck.

It's still available, but not every dealer sells it. We sell it here at Sumet. For the non-ABS it's 6,000 for first hand and 6,500 for second hand. For the ABS model it's 6,200 for first hand and 6,600 for second hand. Best of Luck.

Sorry, I didn't read Red's post before I posted.

Try the Export Shop at the Mall Ngamwongwan. They should have what you are looking for. It's a chain so you may also find them in other Malls and Central shopping centers. Great prices too.

Well sadly or not this does not result from the merger with or acquisition by Audi. So no fuel change.
Just another
designer bike. Next will be Gap Ducati or Lacoste Ducati or Gucci Ducati (comes with free handbag for the girlfriend).
You are right. Check out this ridiculous video.

What Kawasaki motorcycle can you buy at Red Baron for less than what Kawasaki, Thailand charges?
Answer: None
Red Baron doesn't import any of the Kawasaki models that are sold by Kawasaki, Thailand.
Kawasaki Thailand sellls the ZX14R for 850,000 THB, Red Baron Bangkok has the same bike (new) for 715,000 THB See here
Holy crap that's a big tampon on that bike....
I'm sure it's a great bike, but that thing is fugly!

That's quite a good, and important question.
Unfortunately I don't know the answer to it. I'd guess at one M and one L.
I'll probably be in later today for an oil change anyway.
Ok, sounds good. See you later today. Thanks.

Do you know if you'll be getting the 'Ozzy' model in?
http://www.real-helm...²&product_id=23
If so, and at 1,800thb, I'll take two black ones thanks.
I'll check right now. What sizes do you need?

We now have Real helmets in stock. Right now we only have one model available (Stealth Pin-up), but we should have others available in the future. Thanks.

No RRP from Ap Honda yet. Here at Sumet we are selling them 145,000 (includes tax, registration, third person, insurance, one year of theft insurance, and a Bilmola motocross helmet). People in our area haven't been showing much interest though, so I think we may be dropping our prices soon. I think after everything settles down, prices are going to be cheaper in urban areas than out in rural areas. There is going to be more demand for this bike in places like Issan, but less so in places like Bangkok. Kind of the opposite of what happened with the CBR 250. I can't say what our cost for this bike is, but I can say that you will never see it lower than 120,000. If you really want this bike, my advice would be to wait and shop around for a deal that is right for you. However, If you really want to drive it out of the showroom today, send me a PM. Best of luck.

All well and good until you have a warranty claim on an expensive, parallel imported, new bike, or just want to get it serviced. Remember all these new bikes are extremely complicated and need authorized service centers proprietary computer software these days.
Try get Ducati Thailand to service or do warranty work on a grey imported Ducati.
"Freedom to offer great prices"? Really?
Not sure what cave you live in, but here in the real world when they released the new CB'r' 250 we witnessed many greedy Honda dealers in Thailand completely ignore the AP Honda MSRP and charge huge markups on the new 250cc thumper.
The MSRP was perhaps a "great price", but how many dealers ever sold the bike at the AP Honda MSRP?
So far we see with the CRF250L the same pattern of price gouging that occurred with the CB'r' 250. Some greedy Honda dealers are trying to charge as much as 150k baht for the new CRF250L. (Compared to the fixed price of 152500 Baht for the Kawasaki KLX250).
With these cheap new 250's Honda can certainly beat the competition on price, but with some of their dealers taking the piss on pricing it really doesn't do much for the brand image. It's probably smart that AP Honda chose not to announce an MSRP for the new CRF250L. This way the Honda customers don't know how badly they're getting gouged by their dealer...
I find it awful similar to how Red Baron can import new bikes from abroad, pay all the duties and taxes, and still undercut Kawasaki...at least with APe Honda's setup you have the option to shop around. Kawasaki's prices that exceed an importers are set in stone and purchasers either get raped with a restricted model or go the RB route and get less of a warranty for a 'real' Kawasaki.
I'm not defending either practise; however I would rather let market forces decide (which they have demonstrated in the CBR's instance) as the less distasteful options.
What Kawasaki motorcycle can you buy at Red Baron for less than what Kawasaki, Thailand charges?
Answer: None
Red Baron doesn't import any of the Kawasaki models that are sold by Kawasaki, Thailand.
They sure do undercut AP Honda though!
Red Baron sells the 2012 Honda Goldwing for 1,280,000 Baht
AP Honda price is 1,539,000 Baht!
Red Baron sells the US Spec CBR1000RR for 680k Baht
AP Honda sells the RESTRICTED CBR1000RR for 799k Baht
I guess these are the "great prices" that sTROLLing was talking about?
Way to go Red Baron!
My staff called Red Baron the other day. Yes, they do offer a great price, but they said the plate would take four months or more to get and would cost extra. Also, who knows if the American spec. CBR 1000 will even pass the Thai emissions test? They only offer a two month warranty too. I don't think I would be confident spending that much money and receiving such a short warranty. There is also the issue of service. I'm sure the mechanics at Red Baron are good, but nowhere as good as the mechanics at Honda's Big Wing.

hi guys
just to update the thread ,i id picked up a very nice cbr1000rr (Not restricted)
nearly bought a cheap hayabusa but i thought maybe thats overkill because id never use the top speed of it on thai roadz !
i know many people says dont get one a grey import one but i did (it was about 150k-200k cheaper than similar bikes with books )
it has an original invoice and the excise duty paid so the option is there to make a green book if necessary (i can live with a few 500 thb fines
with the amount saved on purchase price providing it dont get confiscated
)
anyways ,back to the bike
its so easy to ride ,i heard horror stories about bikes with this much power but its really easy to make it do what you want
it can weave in and out ,you can lean it nearly all the way over even at low speeds
it goes like shit off a shovel and agile as a cat ! ,i never had a bike this responsive or quick before ,and the brakes are fantastic
(much better than my previous bikes )
i still keep the versys nd my scooter for
a daily runner and use this for fun and weekends and so far so good
Happy dayz!
Congratulations on the new Fireblade. What year is it? I recently picked up my 2012 CBR 1000 (soon to be deresrticted) and totally love it. Even restricted, it puts out 70 ft/lbs of torque, so it still flys. I was also surprised at how easy it is to ride. I had a bit of trouble in traffic the first couple of days, but now I've got the hang of it. Now I can nip through traffic very easily. There is the odd occasion when you get stuck and just can't move, but once the traffic opens up, you make up any lost time and then some. It's very light, handles great, and stops on a dime. Best of Luck.

The shop is on Soi Bua Khao on the left side as you drive from Pattaya Thai before LK
Jeeez! Most of the parts they sell for the PCX are almost twice the price than from shops in Bangkok. Especially the 'Bikers' parts. What a rip-off.
Look here.........and they will post to you, same as KD Shop (look for the link on the left of the main page)
I can provide good prices on most PCX parts and accessories. Shipping is available as well. Just send me a PM and let me know what you need. Thanks.

The IRC Wings are a great option for the PCX. They are available here at Sumet. If anyone is interested, send me a PM. Thanks.

Brian, looks like alot of changes since I was last in your shop. I need to come up, I am in need of a new helmet. Do any of your helmets have an internal retractable sun visor?
Also, are you organizing any rides any time soon?
Sure, a few of the Bilmolas have retractable sun visors. The Explorer model is really nice. My wife just started using it and loves it.
We are thinking of doing a run to Kao Yai on our next trip. We are still working out the details. I'll let you know when I have more info. Thanks.

If you buy a used bike the green book will be included in the price. However, I've heard that if you buy new, you are on the hook for emission testing and the green book.

It lists the co-ordinates, which is helpful for those of us who don't speak Thai.
My question: Do you stock the coloured lid panels for the Shad 45...or do they have to be ordered in?
I'd have to order, but could have them in a day or two. What color do you want? Thanks.

Not sure about a 400, but I wouldn't be surprised if they released a locally made 500. I've been told that Honda Big Wing will have three locally made big bikes available early next year. If priced right, I think a 500 would sell like hot cakes.
