Well, I have many happy customers that would disagree with you. Again, best of luck.

Both the Dunlops and IRC Wings are comparable in quality and performance. They both have soft compounds and are great in the wet. I had the Wings on my PCX 125 and they were great in the turns and in the wet. I also have a friend who says the same thing about the Dunlops that he has on his PCX 125. You won't be disappointed if you go with the Wings. Thanks.

I don't like your prices and 5 other friends also bought in Bowin, you guys are charging over list and in my book that's a rip off, when I buy a new car or bike I expect to pay list or less not more.
Great, I'm glad you found a dealer and price that are right for you. Yes, we charge over the manufacturer's suggested retail price, the key word being "suggested". It's hardly a rip off though. If I can easily sell a bike for 85k, why in the world would I drop the price to 77.5k? Sorry, but I run a successful business, not a charity. Best of luck with your new bike. Let us know if you ever need anything.

Yep, be carefull when installing such aftermarket things like frame protectors (frame sliders) on your Kawasaki. You risk breaking the frame which is NOT covered by warranty
Yep, modifications to frame and/or engine usually do void a factory warranty on any vehicle. Best to realize this fact and know what you're doing before you start messing about.
I just put cut style frame sliders on my CBR 1000. I don't believe any modifications to the frame were made to do it. Do you think this will effect my warranty?

Yes dealer in Bowin are very nice people to do business with, I was back yesterday to get my red plate changed and collect my book plus 2 year theft insurance, I would recommend them.
Any dealer charging 85000 is ripping off the customer.
Well they are still flying out the door as fast as they come in, even at 85k. It is a free market and dealers are free to set prices as they see fit. If you don't like our prices, you are free to shop around and find a better one. That's the beauty of the free market system. I think it is a bit unfair to say I'm ripping people off. With all the extras our price is actually closer to 80k. I also reckon that operating expenses are higher for shops in the Bangkok area than they are for shops 25km south of Pattaya.

I like the looks, except for the fugly headlight. Any guesses on what it would cost?

77000!!! Keen price if that includes on the road and one years theft insurance!
I would pay that in a heart beat. All the dealers around Pattaya are asking 82900 or more.
Chiang Mai Gate is a fair hike to buy a bike though.
Anyone know of a dealer in Bangkok or close by that has price on or near 77k?
I am ready to buy.
No specific dealer in mind for you to check out but last I was in Bangkok a couple weeks ago most Honda dealers had the PCX150 in stock going price was around 72-74k - add your insurance, etc. and I think you will be at the 77k mark. Pattaya is not the place to purchase a PCX150 unless your money is no concern, there are to many EXPATS living here that is driving the price up and most are buying which will keep the price high till the market saturates a little.
That sounds like a pretty low price for Bangkok. How many dealers did you visit to come to the conclusion that most had it from 72-74k? Thanks.

Well Brian, what is your price? I am a motivated buying and waiting for a place to be mentioned where I can spend my baht.
85k on the road price (includes tax, registration, 3rd person insurance, one year of theft insurance, helmet, and windbreaker)

My Fireblade came with Dunlop Sportmax Qualifier 2s. They grip really well and have really helped my confidence in turns. Haven't really tested them in the wet though. Here is a review I found.

In my biased opinion, I'd say go for the Scoopy.

Muc-off makes something similar and as Red said, it is available at Panda Rider. Best of luck.

CBR 250 first class insurance rates here at Sumet are as follows.
ABS: New - 6,200 / Second hand 6,600
Non ABS: New - 6,000 / Second hand 6,500
The coverage is great and it also includes a provision for theft. One of our customers has had two major crashes with about 20,000 worth of damage both times. Other than a small deductable, he didn't have to pay a thing. However, I imagine his premiums are going to be a bit higher next year.
So how do we contact you in order to take out Insurance, do you have an office in Phuket?
I just sent an e-mail with all the details. No need to come to the shop. Everything can be taken care of via fax and e-mail. If anyone else is interested in first class insurance for the CBR 250, you can either send a TV PM or an e-mail to . Thanks.

Did IRC actually give that tire as a prize or was it a promotional thing for the photos?

Cool, maybe we could meet up down there. I'm still not sure how I'm going to get my bike down there though. I guess I would want to ship the bike and fly down, but I'm a bit worried about it getting damaged during transit.

guys guys, today my bike stalled first time in its life.
i was going slow around 30 km but i applied 80 percent throttle to 50km to pass a car in a thigh situation and then it stalled.
I think the culprit is the aftermarket exhaust as it stopped one more time before during a hard throttle when the engine is cold during the first ignition of the day in the morning.
Why is that man?
Thanks for your suggestions.
A lot of folks have reported unexplained stalls on this bike, but so far there doesn't seem to be a fix from Honda... Really dangerous for noob riders. Oh well, sometimes you get what you pay for...

One Youtube video translates into a lot of folks having stall problems, really?

I'm thinking of going myself. Have you gone before?

Check in the small front console compartment. That's where it is when the bike comes from the factory. Perhaps the dealer forgot about it. Best of luck.

Check the radiator fan and make sure it is working. I know a guy who had a similar problem. Without the radiator fan the bike was overheating and burning off oil. Best of luck.

I'm kind of busy at the moment, but I'll try to post some pics of how it's done tomorrow.

The ones that do research and shop around I guess. Either way, I've never made a secret about the fact that there is no set pricing for Hondas in Thailand, only a manufacturer's suggested retail price.
