  1. Seems like it would be helpful if Shapps told the truth. https://fullfact.org/economy/RMT-strike-salary/
  2. Its terrible. Euromillions is almost the same price per ticket and yet 40x the jackpot. Its almost as if the Thai lottery is a swindle.
  3. Best guide is usually https://www.seat61.com/Laos.htm Their advice? Try to book via your hotel or from the station although either way is likely to be fraught with difficulties.
  4. But then that is introducing rules and controls which rather flies in the face of the anyone, any time, anywhere philosophy. With rights and freedoms come responsibilities.
  5. Like surgeons in operating theatres? Or airline pilots/bus drivers?
  6. OP - be aware that your hovercraft is full of eels.
  7. Crikey - steady on, you're making them sound like Catholics.
  8. Who'd have thought it? You get a large increase in the number of planes and passengers to process so you suddenly need more processors. Its called the high season - happens most years...
  9. =if((A14+A15)>2000, 0,"something else") will do the job and you can decide what goes in the cell if <1999. I chose 'something else' but you can have a numeric (such as the total) by using =if((A14+A15)>2000, 0, A14+A15)
  10. Not really. Many countries have liberal laws on drugs like cannabis and alcohol but still are strict on other drugs like yaba and cocaine.
  11. Bira is not an FIA graded track. Bangsaen street circuit was a grade 3 but that expired in June 2021
  12. Buriram is fully F1 and motogp compliant. It was hoped to have an F1 GP there a few years ago but the manila A4s were just not big enough. Motogp has been going there since 2018. They got 178,000 spectators this year.
  13. I think you'll find its human operated. If it were a battery fire from an EV, it would be nowhere near as feeble. Probably a rubbish apple phone charger..
  14. Slight language problem there... The biggest English speaking country is Canada. The most populous English speaking country is India.
  15. Nice to see an real update to 21st century BS with the use of the non-apology - you know, the one that starts "I'm sorry IF...." that means you're not sorry at all. A great move forward after the so 1990s epthet 'netizens' which just sounds straight out of Compuserve or AOL.
  16. The party opposing the referendum seems to have a large problem with votes. It swept in with a huge majority and then, two years later, removed the leader and replaced it with Truss - voted in by only 80000. Truss failed catastrophically and so she was replaced by Sunak who was voted in by 0 party members. They continually lecture people saying the Brexit vote and indyref cannot possibly be re-run because a vote has been done and then change their entire game plan that they were elected on and claim that they 'have a mandate' (they don't) and refuse to be put to the test, desperately clinging on to power until the last possible minute..
  17. Picking up some handy hints on how to deal with awkward reporters?
  18. Bugatti Veyron Super Sport - 490.3kph
  19. Many hydro power set ups use low consumption times to pump water back to the reservoir, effectively storing the energy for later use.
  20. Ah yes, 1997, after the tories got wiped out in the GE because of sleaze, economic mismanagement and disastrous privatisations like rail. Perhaps the solution is staring us in the face...
  21. 30 years ago we were in another tory inspired crash. Then the mortgage rate jumped to 15% causing a housing crash and all because we overpriced our currency and got forced out the ERM. Few people can afford 15% mortgages at any time.
