From the article... Private schools are business, and therefore the goal is to make money. A real problem might well be online tuition. which for several reasons is not worth the school fees; some private schools are relative expensive. I fully understand parents that saves their money until normal conditions re-appear.

Advise wanted on making will in Thailand wanted.
khunPer replied to mikeinkamala's topic in Chiang Mai
According to Thai Law For Foreigners you can write you will in whatever language you wish, but it might - or will - need to be translated to Thai later. A will just need to signed by two witnesses that witness you have signed it, the Amphor-office just works as witness for signature, and you can keep the will on record there, but that is not a demand. -
When reading "History of Thailand" it's said that the sex industry was there long before, but part of it just changed business plan when the GIs arrived. Long ago, during the Ayutthaya period, there were even state-run brothels. At least 90 percent of the customers in sex industry is said to be Asian clients with Thais as the majority. Prostitution was legal until 1966.

Isaan voters once again hold keys to political power in Thailand
khunPer replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Don't forget it's househould income, i.e. "Northeast is the country’s second poorest region after the North in terms of household incomes." Last time the minimum wage was raised from 200 baht per day to 300 baht per day, it just resulted in price increases. Shortly thereafter people complained they the could buy more for their money before the minimum income was raised. In a way, it's another way of buying votes... -

You need a loan document - check with the land office in question if you can use a standard loan agreement, which can be bought in many paper stores and some book stores; otherwise you might need lawyer to make a loan agreement that can be registered similar to a mortgage - and thereafter register the loan as mortgage on the title deed in a land office. The title deed need to be of high class, i.e. Chanote or Nor Sor 4 (same, but two names). I'm not sure if you can have mortgage declared on a Nor Sor 3-title, there is a 30-days objection period on Nor Sor 3 title deeds.

I didn't see any comments together with the new 24 cases - I'm probably as curious as you - I also checked the Thai language source, but it only mentions total numbers and cases for Surat Thani province. -

You need a small pressure tank pump as booster - actually pressure fall, if the pressure drops, then the pump starts - they costs from about 6,000 baht to 10,000 baht. For example this 150 W Mitsubishi for around 5,500 baht (link HERE)... If you for example buy it from HomePro they normally have agreement with someone that can install it for you.

Because it's none of an aliens business, observations only. Facts (2018): 47 out of 1.000 girls aged 15 to 19 become teenage moms, average for South East Asia is 36. Out of 84,578 girls under 20 that gave birth in 2018, 2.559 were between 10 and 14 years old. Source link HERE. Furthermore, village marriages are widely acknowledged, also when under legal age for both consent and marriage. I remember I read something about sex with a girl under 15 not being a wife, it's here... From "National Child Protection Legislation", source link HERE.
