Ever wondered why most western countries did not trust the CCP vaccine?

    [ ... ]

So still the second one then - the screwed up buying the CCP vaccine.

Sinovac was the only fast available vaccine by that time, and many times better than no vaccine, which was the alternative. The initial problem was rather relating on locally manufactured AZ as the only vaccine in a roll out, but everything are always so clear in the unbearable crystal bright light of hindsight...:whistling:

    From Google...

As for the Sinopharm and Sinovac vaccines, they are both recognised by eight European countries.
    ...
The Sinovac vaccine is recognised as valid proof of vaccination by these countries:
    • Austria.
    • Cyprus.
    • Finland.
    • Greece.
    • Iceland.
    • Netherlands.
    • Spain.
    • Sweden.

    Yes!

I read in another article that this a catch up for those who received two Sinovac, so not really a booster jab in the true sense.

Yes, it's a booster. The early developed Chinese vaccine is based on dead virus from the original Wuhan virus, which the vaccines were fairly effective against. Unfortunately those early vaccines based on dead Wuhan-virus only provides 13-14 percent protection against the later Delta-variant, but one booster with vector based-vaccine like AZ, or mRNA-based vaccines like Pfizer, can improve that...????

So the second one - "we screwed up etc"

Ever wondered why most western countries did not trust the CCP vaccine?

The Western countries are also beginning booster jabs now, as the vaccines used so far only seems to last between six months and one year. Israel was one of the first countries to roll out mass vaccination - and they used Pfizer - the immunity is running out now, so they begin with boosters.

The Chinese vaccine is based on dead virus from the original Wuhan-virus. Unfortunately the mutated variants, especially Delta, seems to be (much) less protected by dead-virus vaccine, actually only around 13-14 percent according to Thai news. Luckily one booster jab with vector-based AZ, or an mRNA-vaccine, can change that...????

  4. First check the the father will approve an adoption. From experience from a friend, you'll need the father's permission. In my friend's case - the friend is the mother that got married to foreigner - it was extremely difficult, but finally settled by a (relative small) sum of money in exchange for a signature on the right document.

    But in Thailand:

Door height is often 170-180 cm, and so are market stalls. I feel like I'm in a dollhouse, or somewhere down the rabbit hole in Alice in Wonderland.

I'm 180 cm tall and have been regular visitor in Land of Smiles since 2001, and resident since 2005.

You'll get used to being tall in LoS, if not by others ways, then the hard "head banging" natural method...????????

From years of experience, I can guarantee you that, that method works well...????

    Speechless form Sisaket.

Ok - with so few poor people fully vaccinated lets get our HiSo friends vaxed

Or - we screwed up buying and using (continuing to use - but only with the poor) Chinese vaccines.

Choose please Dr. Oops I got it completely wrong but my TIT face does not allow me to say so (in good company with the general)

Booster jabs will be for those that unfortunately got "the poor Chinese vaccines" so they get improved immunity - especially important for front line workers and vulnerable people in hard infected zones - did you sign up for your jabs?????

    5hit, now they'll know I am a vegan!   555

I wouldn't worry about meal preferences, if I was you, Bangkok Air will still know that you are vegan, and so will a lot others after buying the leaked data, and now everybody after you posted in ASEAN NOW...????

By the way, it's not the first time that some kind of data have been stolen from Bangkok Air, but I didn't see it in the news last time, or got an email from the airline. It'a a number of years ago, and I got several emails from others using my special Bangkok Air email address - i.e. [email protected] - the senders kindly told me that my mailserver had been hacked and encrypted, and I should pay them some money to reopen it.

I of course changed my email address in Frequent Flyer and informed Bangkok Air about the breach, but I never heard anything back. Just for reference I kept the "bkkair"-alias open and emails continue to arrive, the last only a few weeks ago, but now they want cyber-money - ,i.e. Bitcoins or Etherum - to reopen the encryption of my so-called "email server" on "bkkair@...". I of course never paid anything, but wonders how I can continue to receive emails when the mail-server is hacked and encrypted...????

  10. TAT will have the correct answer about actual number of quality tourists, but there might also be others arriving, as a number of ASEAN NOW-members - and members of other forums - have posted that they used Phukets Sandbox as alternative to alternative quarantine...????

Do farangs carry a paper copy of their passport or even the actual passport in some sort of case, or is their some credit card sized ID format that suffices as legal ID?

Copy of you passport will normally do; i.e. the name & ID-page, and the page with your valid entry-stamp or extension of stay. You can have the photocopy laminated, or just use one of the water tight bags to hang around the neck.

If you have Thai drivers license then that is also a valid ID, it includes either your passport number or your Thai ID-number, if you are registered...????
